This Thai restaurant located in a classic house that is more than 100 years old Vanidabangkok serves flavorful Thai food, coffee, bakery and cold drinks to patrons to enjoy with a luxurious vintage and charming ambience. The house was built during the reign of King Rama VII, the era where western art started to influence Thai house designs, and it was a command post of Japanese soldiers during world war II. Fear not of the opulence décor, cause the menu here is friendly for the wallet, especially when the shop is offering a set menu offering crowd’s favorites like fried seabass with fish sauce, prawns tom yum, stir fried squid with chili paste, and fried cabbage or Thai style omelet together for a fixed price of only 888 THB. We think all the dished are well executed, fried fish are very crispy, prawns are big and fresh, squid is soft and not chewy at all. The restaurant’s Italian Sodas are also refreshing. A recommendation for those who are looking for a dining place for family or friends around Chan Rd.

ร้านอาหารไทย ในบ้านหลังสวยเก่าแก่อายุกว่า 100 ปี #vanidabangkok แห่งนี้ เสริฟทั้งอาหารไทยรสชาติเข้มข้นถึงเครื่อง รวมถึงเป็นทั้งคาเฟ่และบาร์ให้เราได้นั่งทานอาหาร จิบกาแฟและเครื่องดื่ม ในบรรยากาศสไตล์ Luxury Vintage อันทรงเสน่ห์ ถ่ายรูปสวยทุกมุม ตัวบ้านหลังนี้ ถูกสร้างขึ้นในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 7 ซึ่งเป็นยุคที่ศิลปะแบบตะวันตกเริ่มเข้ามามีบทบาทในการสร้างที่อยู่อาศัยของคนไทย และเคยเป็นที่บัญชาการของทหารญี่ปุ่นในสมัยสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 เห็นร้านหรูๆแบบนี้ ราคาอาหารถือว่าน่ารักมากนะ ยิ่งตอนนี้ทางร้านออกโปรโมชั่นเซ็ตอาหารไทยที่รวมเอาขวัญใจมหาชน อย่างปลากะพงทอดน้ำปลา ต้มยำกุ้งแม่น้ำ ปลาหมึกผัดพริกเผา และกะหล่ำผัดน้ำปลา หรือไข่เจียวหมูสับ มาให้เราได้ฟินกันในราคา 888 บาทเท่านั้น ทางร้านทำอาหารออกมาดีเลยนะ รสชาติจัดจ้านกำลังพอดี ปลาทอดกรอบดีมาก กุ้งสด ตัวใหญ่ ปลาหมึกเนื้อนุ่มไม่เหนียวเลย ตัวเมนูเครื่องดื่มอย่าง Italian soda ก็ทำออกมาสดชื่นเลย ใครหาร้านสวยๆพาครอบครัวหรือเพื่อนๆมาทานอาหารกันแถวโซนถนนจันทน์ เราก็ที่นี่ก็เป็นทางเลือกที่ดีเลย

My first encounter with Chef Fabrizio Crocetta was in Bali at Apéritif Restaurant & Bar to which we stumbled upon their afternoon collaboration preparation. Chef Fabrizio worked in Tokyo for Il Ristorante Luca Fantin (Michelin*Tokyo, Japan) and at the time, was representing Il Ristorante Luca Fantin Bvlgari Resort in Bali, Indonesia. (Bali, Indonesia).

Given that we had the opportunity to dine at Il Ristorante Luca Fantin in Tokyo a couple of years back, indicated he was rubbing shoulders and experience, with the very best of them. Little did we expect a year or so later to see Chef Fabrizo gracing our social media feeds with a new Stagio Chef's Table , right here in Bangkok.

Who could resist the chance to find out what Chef Fabrizio had to offer after an extraordinary journey throughout Asia, working among some of the finest industry professionals and handling some of the world's freshest seafood and premium ingredients.

Suffice to say, we were far from disappointed. Stagio, although in its humble setting, between the entrance of BRITANNICA Brasserie at Gaysorn Village and the restaurant's window booths, tastes like the kind of cuisine you would expect to pay double the price for what you actually paid.

Chef Fabrizio’s approach to Italian cuisine is one which has the discipline of the Japanese, the pride of Italian and their produce and in great subtlety, the vibrancy of SouthEast Asia .

Elegant in every way, Stagio guests are spoiled with Carabineros from the Mediterranean, Bluefin Tuna of Japan, Venison of New Zealand Venison, Wild Monkfish and “Mora Romagnola'' Pig Cold Cuts.
