7 Jazz Funk Blues licks - Do you know any?

This is one of my guitar lessons where I teach how to apply scales & arpeggios over the chord changes. This time how to play solo over A-7. How many approaches do you know from these?
1) Penta Tonic
2) Blues Scale
3) Penta Tonic Plus 9
4) Dorian Scale
5) Melodic Minor Scale
6) Diatonic Triads
7) C Major arpeggios as A-7(9) = b3 5 b7 9... so 7 soloing tips all my student must know!

Tomo Fujita possesses all the elements of great musicianship: astounding technical ability, flawless rhythm skills, and a total command of his instrument. But if asked, Tomo would tell you that music is not just about playing. It’s about feeling. He has a remarkable ability to inject emotion into every phrase he plays, whether the style is blues, jazz, funk or rock. Tomo earned a degree at Berklee College of Music and has been a faculty member at Berklee since 1993. Perhaps the most famous of his former Berklee students are Soulive guitarist Eric Krasno (Kraz) and John Mayer. Tomo is also affiliated with the major music schools in his native Japan. His articles have been published in the Japanese magazines Jazz Life and Jazz Guitar, and he is a regular contributor to the Japanese edition of Guitar magazine. His instructional materials are especially popular in Japan, where guitar players have bought more than 100,000 copies of his videos and books. Tomo has performed with some of the best, including Phil Collins, John Mayer, James Genus (Saturday Night Live), Will Lee (Late Show with David Letterman), Kenwood Dennard (Jaco Pastorious, Dizzy Gillespie, Jimmy Smith), Darryl Jones (Miles Davis, Sting, Rolling Stones), Paul Jackson (Herbie Hancock, Headhunters), Ronnie Earl, Steve Gadd, Bernard Purdie, Steve Jordan and Susan Tedeschi. Thanks so much for watching my YouTube channel! It's time for my new lesson for this week.

It's Lesson #6!! How about bending technique? Most people practice bending with phrases. But I normally practice only bending part. Please watch my video for the details.

1) Practice bending with C Major scale on 3rd, 2nd and 1st strings.
Slowly, checking the right pitch. Try to use less pressure from your fret hand.

2) Similar idea on E Major scale. Only use the 2nd string. Bend each 2nd note to 3rd note.
This way you can play like melodies.

3) Apply this technique into C slow blues. Play slowly to focus on each pitches.
Then you can play it in tempo. Bend 1st & 2nd strings.

4) Now change the key! It’s E! Focus to bend with 2nd & 3rd strings.
Watch out each pitches carefully, because different strings set, different positions has a different tension.

It’s so important not to use too much pressure from your left hand. Use as much as less pressure possible!
