Explored the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct last weekend to enjoy the annual National Day light-up of buildings.

The seven buildings lit up this year are an interesting mix of gazetted national monuments, like the Central Fire Station and Cathedral of the Good Shepherd, as well as not so well-known sites, like the old Middle Road Church at the corner of Waterloo Street and Middle Road. While their functions have been changed over the years, these historical buildings have all played a part in our Singapore story.

I was hoping to capture all seven buildings, but got rained out (as you can see from the Central Fire Station photo), so missed two of them. Please share your pics of Cathay Building and the National Museum (and the others too), lit up for National Day!

💙這片藍的版面太舒壓了

在🇳🇿紐西蘭南島自駕自由行，
有一個我必須推薦給大家一定要去的景點。
蒂卡波湖LAKE TEKAPO。
是位於紐西蘭南島麥肯奇盆地（英語：Mackenzie Basin）的湖泊，位置與普卡基湖和奧豪湖大致平行。面積83平方千米（32平方英里），海拔710米（2330英尺）。

夏季有魯冰花季、還有國際星空保護區，
不止如此，這裡真的美的很令人驚艷。

在蒂卡波湖湖畔，
有一間非常有名的「好牧羊人教堂 Church of the Good Shepherd」

好牧人教堂興建於1935年，也是全紐西蘭體積最小的教堂。

透過其窗戶，蒂卡波湖和旁邊山的景色一覽無餘，十分美麗，吸引許多攝影師以及結婚的新人前來拍照。

建築體以石頭堆砌而成，非常的古典樸實；不止受到旅客的喜愛，因為那裡的光害極小，可以在晚上拍到非常多星星的照片，所以它也是攝影師非常喜歡來拍攝取景的地方。

而在好牧人教堂旁邊的蒂卡波湖 LAKE TEKAPO，也是這裡的名勝景點！
蒂卡波湖的湖水是來自北部的戈德利河、源頭又位於更北的南阿爾卑斯山。

蒂卡波湖的湖水是非常漂亮的各種藍色。
乍看之下以為是土耳其藍、再看又像是加了鮮奶油的湛藍、配上南阿爾卑斯山脈的雪山景色，就如同閃亮的藍色寶石一樣。

至於它的湖水為什麼藍的這麼特別？

正因為湖水源頭的冰川融化後，周圍砂石沖刷成細碎的粉末流入湖中、那些岩石粉末在陽光的照耀之下反射而成。

蒂卡波湖 Lake Tekapo的地理位置在紐西蘭南島的中部，所以前往紐西蘭南島旅行的朋友絕對可以很輕鬆的將它排入到行程裡面。

這裡的步調很輕鬆悠閒；白天可以輕鬆的觀賞湖畔美景、到了晚上，如果你對觀星有興趣，從蒂卡波湖Lake Tekapo鎮上大約開15分鐘就可以到達約翰天文台，在好牧羊人教堂旁就可以看到壯闊的星星跟銀河。

這裡也是知名的旅遊景點之一，湖邊小鎮及其南部有許多度假酒店。
建議大家要提早規劃訂房，我因為沒訂到附近的民宿只有在白天前來，也許因著些許的遺憾，也讓我下次可以安排孩子一起來這裡的旅行能更有動力。

那天在好牧羊人教堂的時候，
我獨自一人進去默禱，
當時我才懷孕六週左右，
知道懷孕的時候其實當週就要出發了。
也因為懷孕整趟旅遊不能喝酒吃不熟的牛排（還好出發前驗到懷孕不然以往一定大口喝酒）
但是非常的感謝上帝讓我們有這趟旅程，
讓我們讚嘆大自然的美好、也透過這段旅程享受最後的兩人時光。

希望疫情趕快結束，趕快存錢帶著孩子來一趟紐西蘭露營車之旅，
我相信這一定是一段有笑有淚累的半死事後又覺得幸福的旅程。

Filmed and recorded during my trip to South New Zealand back in May 2019. It was autumn season and most of the streets are full with beautiful autumn foliages. We rented a campervan that can accommodate 6 people, and it was our home for 9 days in the south island. We stored our food, cooked, peed, charged batteries and slept in the van throughout the whole journey.

The only regret I had is I do not have as many footages as I wanted due to many non-flight zones. As there are airports in almost every places we had went, the non-flight coverage area was huge and I was unable to let my drone to take off, hence aerial footages were limited. However, we were blessed with clear skies for few nights, we were able to locate the milkyway with our bare eyes.

This film is made up of timelapse footages consist of 2,265 pictures with more than 8 hours total shooting time, and with more than 60 video clips.
