很多家長知道幫孩子補充Omega-3脂肪酸很重要,但由於從未有相關的臨床指引,導致多數醫師不知道該如何拿來做為輔助臨床治療。 國際知名的營養精神醫學專家中國醫藥大學附設醫院兒童青少年精神科主任張倍禎醫師、台南市立安南醫院副院長蘇冠賓教授近日接受國際期刊 Clinical Psychoneuropharmacology and Neuroscience邀請,發表「Omega-3脂肪酸在兒童青少年精神疾病之臨床指引」,透過回顧臨床試驗結論,制定臨床指引。
【Omega-3脂肪酸的建議劑量】:
注意力不足過動症 (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, ADHD): 每日建議補充至少750mg的omega-3 (EPA/DHA之複方組合)。若呈現EPA缺乏的徵候,每日建議補充1200mg的EPA單方。
自閉症 (Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ASD)劑量: 每日建議補充1300mg-1500mg的omega-3 (EPA/DHA之複方組合)。
重鬱症 (Major Depressive Disorder, MDD)的劑量:建議以EPA單方或EPA>DHA成分組合。每日建議補充1000mg的omega-3 (EPA/DHA之複方組合或EPA單方) 。
