Larry Carlton Style - Triad Approach
https://youtu.be/lGFl9EVy7rI
Special thanks to Tim H (my new fan!) who sent his special package with money for my cds! This gift was so amazing! His friend Bob Cameron who took this amazing photo from live footage of Louis Armstrong in 1941! Incredible! I love it so much! Tim said "I thought you might like to have it in light of the fact that you are a fine musician in your own right." Wow! Thank you so much!!
Then I thanked him via email.. he wrote me back with more about Bob and Tim's life stories.
Then Tim wrote.... "Nevertheless, I really admire your skills as a performer as well as a teacher. Of all the teachers I have followed, you make the most sense to me personally."
""I am including a link to a video of Rick Beato with Larry Carlton. I saw Larry Carlton play a few years ago and he just blew me away. Since you are so into triads and base your understanding of soloing on them, I wanted to ask you to do a video on how Larry Carlton hears 3 triads above the one that is played... and then he improvises based on these 3 possibilities.
It's way over my head and I'll probably never "get it" as far as getting it under my fingers, but at least maybe I can intellectually understand it. Here is the video - 5 minutes in...

Anyway, maybe you can explain it better than they do.
Thanks,
tim ""
So this video is replying to Tim's question. Although I didn't watch that video yet because I wanted to point out two approaches first as simple ideas. Hope Tim will enjoy this!

Valkyrie no Densetsu[a] is a 1989 action-adventure role-playing arcade game developed and published in Japan by Namco. Up to two players control the warrior maiden Valkyrie or her lizard-like companion Kurino Xandra as they set out to drop a mythical item called the Golden Seed into the Northern Fountain to replenish the dying cropfields of Xandra Land, and must also stop the antagonist Kamooz, who also sets out for the Golden Seed to enslave all the inhabitants of Marvel Land. Gameplay involves defeating enemies and collecting gold to purchase magical spells and weapons in shops. It is a followup to the 1986 Family Computer game Valkyrie no Bōken: Toki no Kagi Densetsu, with Valkyrie no Densetsu having a greater focus on action.
Valkyrie no Densetsu was the creation of Namco artist Hiroshi Fujii and a designer only known by the pseudonym of "Koakuman". The game's world, the fictional kingdom of Marvel Land, was greatly inspired by Viking tales from northern Europe and the middle ages, with a heavy emphesis on having a sort-of "magical" feel of it. It was originally meant to be four-player action game in the vein of titles like Gauntlet with a cabinet-linking system similar to Final Lap, which was scrapped later on. Characters were made to have personality and depth, a design choice inspired by The Wizard of Oz. The team envisioned a world that changed as the player progressed onward, with transitioning seasons and landscapes, however the usage of a vertical-oriented monitor forced much of this to be scrapped or altered.
Valkyrie no Densetsu was released in arcades to critical acclaim for its gameplay, characters and world, winning several awards from Gamest magazine. Namco ported the game to the PC Engine in 1990, a conversion that was met with a more mixed response for its difficulty, downgraded graphics and altered gameplay. The game was mostly unknown outside Japan until the release of Namco Museum Vol. 5 in 1997, which renamed the game to The Legend of Valkyrie and was fully translated into English. Several additional ports were made, including those for Windows, Japanese mobile phones and the Wii Virtual Console. The PC Engine conversion is also one of the 50 built-in games included in the upcoming TurboGrafx-16 Mini by Konami.

The Audio Palette
Richard S. Burwen developed the concept for the Audio Palette. Burwen found that certain tone control adjustments were necessary to obtain the most natural, lifelike sound from recordings.
Cello has identified the major cause of sonic problems in recordings as the tonal balance that has been adjusted by the recording and mastering engineers in the studio. Each engineer uses a monitoring system that is unique. Because the tonal balance of each system is different, each recording is different. Engineers primarily use equalization to optimize tonal balance for the best sound on their system.
The Audio Palette advances musical realism more than any other single component. Tonal balance can be corrected from the most delicate and subtle adjustments for the best recordings, to the most extreme and dramatic adjustments for vintage material, in order to restore the vitality and life to recordings of music without sonic deterioration.
The Audio Palette is used by record companies, mastering laboratories, and also by discriminating home listeners.
Product Specifications:
The Standard Version of the Audio Palette has one (1) Fischer 3-pin balanced input. The Multiple Input Version (M.I.V.) Audio Palette total of four (4) inputs, one (1) Fischer 3-pin balanced and three (3) single ended.

Crime Fighters (クライムファイターズ) is a 1989 side-scrolling beat-em-up released by Konami for the arcades. The players takes control of a duo (or squad) of undercover police officers who are assigned to rescue a group of kidnapped damsels from a crime boss and his army of punks.
Much like Konami's arcade version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (released during the same year), the game was available in a four-player dedicated cabinet, as well as a conversion kit that was available in 2-player and 4-player versions (meant for either Atari Games' Gauntlet or Konami's own Main Event). Unlike Ninja Turtles, each player character is identical, save for each one sporting a different palette swapped color. Crime Fighters was followed by a sequel titled Vendetta (released in Japan as Crime Fighters
