Today, you turn seven months old and you flashed your wide, toothless grin at me, like how you do umpteen times every day, when I took a photo of you.
It's been a month of gastronomic adventure and discovery with you in the past month. Let's see, your favourite food for now includes avocado, banana, pear and pumpkin but you've also tried potato, carrot, blueberries, apple, fish, chicken, sweet potato, brown rice, cereal and more! That's not bad for your introductory month of having solids, right? Although it makes me more exhausted having to cook your meals separately from ours daily, that bright smile of yours makes it all worthwhile.
You are also getting good at sitting down on your own though you tend to lose balance and fall over after some time. Haha. Like the previous months, you have been drooling and munching on your fingers incessantly but you have yet to cut your first tooth, so let's just wait patiently for now yeah.
Your sisters say you are very chubby and I think so too, you might just be the chubbiest one of the lot. It is a heartening thing to know because, like me, you are a preemie but I am relieved to see that you are gaining weight steadily. We love seeing your baby rolls and oh, you are easily tickled and will laugh and laugh when it happens.
We went for your vaccinations earlier this month and you were totally a trooper - your cries lasted merely 1 or 2 seconds despite having a jab on each thigh. That said, I think it's because I was there to comfort you and for now, judging by how you reach out for me or whine whenever I walk away, there is no doubt that you love me deep deep.
But you know what? That is not even a fraction of how much I love you. I can't even describe it but you are my world, or rather, our world because your siblings love you to the moon and back too.
Thank you for being a ray of sunshine in our lives and cheering us up every single day - something which we truly need during these gloomy times. Looking forward to more happy days stuck with you 24/7, my darling boy! ❤

pointは「点」を意味する単語ですが、日常会話では「意味」を表す表現として使われます。例えば、「〜にどんな意味があるの?」は“What’s the point in/of ____?”、「〜しても意味がない」は“There is no point in/of ____.”のように表します。ここで使われる「意味」は単語や表現の定義を表しているのではなく、ある行動に対する意味を指します。

What’s the point of studying English if you don’t use it?
(英語を勉強しても使わないと意味がないよ。)

(このトレーニングの意味が分かりません。無意味です。)

4) At the time(その時)

at the timeは、「その時は」や「当時は」を意味する表現です。この表現は過去のある時点について話すときに使われ、特に今と状況が大きく異なることを表すときに使われる傾向があります。例えば、「当時は携帯電話がなかった」と言いたい場合は、“At the time, cellphones didn’t exist.”と言います。

パンのレシピをご紹介します!
見た目がボールみたいでかわいい♡中にはピザの具材が入っていて、割ったらチーズが伸び〜る♪
手作りのパンを作るときは、ぜひチャレンジしてみてくださいね。
ピザボール
8個分
材料:
強力粉 100g
薄力粉 40g
砂糖 小さじ2
ドライイースト 小さじ1/2
水(入れる前に人肌程度に温める)80ml
オリーブオイル 小さじ2
塩 小さじ1/2
Aピザ用チーズ 70g
A粗びき黒コショウ 小さじ1/2
A塩 小さじ1/4
生ハム 4枚
モッツァレラチーズ 40g
溶かしバター 大さじ2
乾燥バジル 適量
作り方:
1.ボウルに強力粉、薄力粉、砂糖、ドライイーストを入れ、木べらで全体を混ぜ合わせる。
2.人肌程度に温めた水とオリーブオイルを加え、木べらで混ぜる。
3.生地がまとまってきたら塩を加えて手で混ぜ込み、大きめのまな板の上に出して、全体をこね、ひとまとめにする。
4.生地を伸ばしてこねて、なめらかになるまでころころと転がし、手ごねと転がしを繰り返す。
5.ボウルに丸めた生地を置いてラップをし、電子レンジの発酵機能40度で30分〜40分、生地が1.5倍くらいの大きさになるまで発酵させる。(発酵機能がある場合はそちらを使用し、ない場合は鍋に40℃の湯を入れ、湯煎する)
6.生ハムは2cm幅に切り、Aと合わせておく。モッツァレラチーズは8等分に切っておく。
7.発酵が終わったら、オーブンを200度に予熱しておく。
8.(5)の生地を軽く手で押しつぶしガスを抜き、8等分に切り分け丸め直す。
9.(6)とモッツァレラチーズをそれぞれ包み、200度のオーブンで15〜20分、きつね色になるまで焼く。
10.器に盛り、溶かしバターを塗り、乾燥バジルをちらして完成!

Pizza Balls Are The Best Snacks
Servings: 8 balls
INGREDIENTS
100g bread flour
40g flour
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
80ml water (at body temperature)
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
A70g shredded cheese
A1/2 teaspoon black pepper
A1/4 teaspoon salt
4 slices prosciutto
40g mozzarella
2 tablespoons melted butter
Some dried basil
PREPARATION
1. Mix bread flour, cake flour, sugar, and active dry yeastin a bowl with a wooden spatula.
2. Add water (at body temperature) and olive oil. Mix more with the wooden spatula.
3. When well combined, add salt and knead with hands. Transfer the dough to a large board.
4. Keep kneading and stretching the dough on the board util smooth.
5. Put the dough back to the bowl and cover with a plastic wrap. Rise the dough for 30 to 40 minutes until risen by 1.5 times. (You can use the rise feature of your microwave or use a double boiler with 40℃ hot water.)
6. Cut prosciutto slices into 2cm pieces, then mix with A ingredients. Cut mozzarella into 8 pieces.
7. Preheat the oven at 200℃ (390°F).
8. Punch down the dough to release air. Divide the dough to 8 parts and form balls.
9. Put (6) and a mozzarella piece in each balls. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden.
10. Brush with some melted butter. Sprinkle with dried basil.
11. Enjoy!

Hi curlfriends! I'm sure you've been at that point where you're over your braids and want a different look, right? Taking them down is not your only option! Shorten your braids or twists by cutting them. Allow me to show you how to do that yourself by watching this tutorial. It's super easy and doesn't take long! Note: If you have braids or twists with regular kanekalon hair, use a lighter or flat iron over the area you wish to cut, BEFORE you cut it. This applies especially to big size braids, otherwise it's all going to unravel on you and we don't want that, do we? :D

Hello friends! Today we're going to share with you how to make a classic Italian sweet buns: Maritozzi Con La Panna, sweet buns with whipped cream.
Maritozzi are gorgeous and delicious Italian cream buns. It's a kind of soft and light brioche style bun which is sliced in half, then filled with whipped cream! You can easy to get one in Rome's pastry shops or coffee shops. Usually people enjoy it with coffee for breakfast. Or even for afternoon tea.
Maritozzi buns are originally found in the Lazio region in Rome and date back to the Middle Ages. They're made with yeast, flour, egg, sugar, butter, honey, salt, and orange zest. There is a tradition that a boyfriend or future husband gives his lover these sweet cream buns as a sign of his love, or hides a ring inside the bun. So romantic. If you love cream buns, you need to try it. Enjoy :)

How to make Maritozzi Con La Panna
Maritozzi Con La Panna Recipe
☞ Yield: Serve 5
✎ Ingredients
bread flour 167g
unsalted butter 25g
granulated sugar 27g
medium egg 2
instant yeast 2.2g
salt 2.3g
honey 7g
an half orange zest
milk 45g
✎ Instructions
1. In a large bowl, add milk (room temp), a teaspoon of the total quantity of sugar and instant yeast and 15g of the total quantity of flour together, mix well to create a smooth paste. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes in a warm spot.
2. Then add egg mixture, the remaining of sugar, honey and orange zest into the bowl, mix to combine.
3. Add the remaining of flour and salt, combine the ingredients, incorporating the flour bit by bit.
4. Transfer the dough to the work surface, the dough will be sticky but try not to add too much flour, a little is fine, just knead until it becomes a ball, it should come together nicely. You can use a scraper to collect the dough.
5. Add the softened butter, press the dough out in a way on the work surface to help blending the ingredients together, then scrape the dough back into the center, and continue to press the dough again until fully incorporated.
6. Next, use the slap and fold method to knead the dough, just pick up the dough and slap it down, then fold it over, and repeat again, until the dough is smooth and soft. You can also use a mixer for this procedure.
7. Place the dough ball in a bowl and cover with a plastic wrap in a warm place for about 2 hours or until doubled in size.
8. Turn the dough onto a work surface. Divide the dough into pieces of 55g for each. Degas them gently, rolling each bun into a small round shape. Place them one by one onto a baking sheet with baking paper. Cover with a tea towel or plastic wrap loosely, let them rise for 30 minutes in a warm spot.
9. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 200ºC, brush the maritozzo with an egg wash and bake for about 12~14 mins, or until golden on top.
10. Once baked, let the buns cool completely.
11. Cut the bread in half without cutting through. Open slightly and fill with fresh whipped cream, and dust with icing sugar.
12. Enjoy.
