歐陽師父的創意實在無限！小編在譽瓏軒最喜歡品嘗的菜式就是蔥油拌面，他總有辦法在每次呈上拌面是都是充滿驚喜和美感。蔥油拌面，看似簡單也能做到極致。
拌面如何多變不能缺的是用來起鍋的豬油渣，就像卡邦尼意粉中同樣利用了豬面頰肉來提升口味上的層次。更不可或缺的是鑊氣！這道菜不能拍照超過十秒，以位上呈現粵菜，有時會犧牲了溫度；但譽瓏軒廚房的鑊氣往往拿捏準確蕩熱！蔥油拌面溫度不夠，油膩感也會增加。

以Wok Searing 代替西式 Pan Searing 的北海道帶子，熟度剛好：表面帶鑊氣焦香、內裡稚嫩。

黑豚腩的油脂令拌麵食起來更香！開陽即蝦米。
「荔枝木燒鵝蔥油拌面」左下
荔枝果木燒鵝，譽瓏軒使用的是三個月大的鵝肉，皮脆肉香。

松露片下是荔枝木燒烤的走地雞，包裹著花膠等材料，口感有脆雞皮和彈牙的花膠。

For this video, we headed down to Rong Cheng Bak Kut Teh to devour 15 Bowls of Bak Kut Teh filled with MASSIVE Dragon Ribs! Rong Cheng Bak Kut Teh is located at Midview City and serves pepper-heavy Bak Kut Teh with a unique twist of having Dragon Ribs (Pork Loin Ribs) as their cut of pork. Bak Kut Teh, literally translated as Meat Bone Tea, is a Singaporean dish that consists of Pork Ribs cooked in a richly spiced and flavoured broth with rice and fried dough fritters on the side. There are traditionally 2 versions, the Teochew one being lighter-coloured and pepper-forward, while the Hokkien version being darker and more herbal. Rong Cheng Bak Kut Teh serves the former version with much aplomb since 1976.
I went forward with doing it bowl by bowl, completing 15 bowls in the end. The Dragon Ribs were true to the name and ginormous in size. Due to the size of the ribs, some parts were chewier and leaner than others, while the fatty parts were fork-tender and bursting with flavour. Dipped in the soy sauce plus chilli condiment, the Bak Kut Teh flavour shined tremendously. The broth was peppery and had deep and complex notes of the all the Chinese spices and herbs used in the long preparation. Surprisingly, the dough fritter was the component that really blew me away. They were ridiculously crisp, probably through a double-fry process, and soaked up all the rich Bak Kut Teh broth. I could not get enough.
They also served Traditional Chinese Tea which can be brewed on the spot. The name of this dish originally came from the fact that physical labourers in the past used to eat Bak Kut Teh while drinking Chinese Tea after a hard day’s work. Rong Cheng Bak Kut Teh does not sway from this tradition and allows you to experience the full, authentic Bak Kut Teh experience.

In the second episode of our Kaohsiung Adventure Vlog series we started off by continuing our tour around the Lotus Lake, checking out the popular Kaohsiung landmarks:

- Dragon and Tiger Pagodas
After exploring the Lotus Lake we began a Taiwan nature hike nearby the Lotus Lake in Kaohsiung.
This hike turned out to be a total hidden gem with no tourists at all on the hiking trail, it was left for us to explore on our own travel adventure through the mountain and forest.
We discovered along the way old WW2 air raid shelters now overtaken by the nature and greenery around. At the peak of the mountain and trail you had an unbelievable view of the Lotus Lake and the Taiwan temples beside it.
Walking down the walking trail we were lead to the Old City of Zuoying which was Taiwan's oldest walled city.
It again was a hidden gem and seemed to be a local secret as no one else was there.
This was a great historical landmark perfect for any travelers who are looking to learn more about Taiwan's history.
We ended the day by getting some drinks at the 7 Eleven.
It was a great day touring around the secret side of Kaohsiung City, I really recommend this hike if you want to escape the crowds and discover some hidden gems.

I did not expect this from Kaohsiung!
On our first day of our Kaohsiung Adventure we traveled through Kaohsiung city to the beautiful and scenic Lotus Lake.
Here we walked around the lake taking in Taiwan's nature side. It was surprisingly quiet and was the perfect place to relax.
Around the Lotus Lake in Kaohsiung there are many things that you can do. This includes checking out the beautiful Kaohsiung landmark called Confucius Temple.
After checking out the Taiwanese temple we headed to the nearby local Taiwanese street food market.
Here at Ha Luo Market we tried different Taiwanese dishes from a popular street food stall.
Next we headed back to Lotus Lake and continued exploring this beautiful park in Kaohsiung.
Along the lake we walked around:
- Zuoying Yuandi Temple
- Spring and Autumn Pavilions
- Dragon and Tiger Pagodas
It was a wonderful first day in Taiwan walking around the amazing Lotus Lake in Kaohsiung city. I really recommend it to anyone travelling to Taiwan.
