E-BOY, E-GIRL và SOFT BOY (?!!!)
(Thú thật mình mới nghe khái niệm Soft boy, con trai mềm là cái gì thế nhỉ. Mình chỉ biết a D*ck gonna hard when see something soft thui)
Nào – Từ những Eboy, Egirl với những tiêu đề “ Con gái sẽ mê tít thò lò mũi xanh những chàng trai mặc kiểu này” thì nhìn qua, mình thấy những cậu chàng đang độ tuổi Trung học cơ sở hoặc Trung học Phổ Thông mặc những chiếc Tee trắng, đen xộc xệch, những chiếc quần skinny jeans hoặc polo kiểu cũ + quần tây và công thức sneaker sẽ là Vans, Converse hay Fila Disruptors.
Tất nhiên, việc các bạn í mặc chẳng có gì sai cả. Đẹp thì không – vì nó nhìn basic thì khen đẹp mình cũng không biết khen ở điểm nào. Khuôn mặt chăng? Khuôn mặt thì càng khó vì các bạn í toàn ảnhc ắt đầu hay chèn trái tim to đùng ở giữa mặt thì làm sao coi thần thái. Và thế là khái niệm lệch lạc về “E-Boy” “E-Girl” bắt đầu (Còn softboi thì mình chịu, chắc do mình là hardboi =)) ).
Nhìn vào những tấm hình như vậy thì chắc chắn sức ảnh hưởng này đến từ TikTok – platform video hùng mạnh nhất hiện nay. Mình đảm bảo những outfit trên đến từ những cậu chàng thanh niên tuổi tween hay teenager ở Mỹ, Châu Âu và đặc biệt là từ Trung Quốc cùng các clip vuốt tóc, ngầu ngầu cun cun mà nhân vật nữ lúc nào cũng đổ mê. Biểu sao mà các em trai thích thế.
Từ “E-Boy” và “E-Girl” xuất phát từ “Electronic Boy” và “Electronic Girl” nhằm nhấn mạnh về việc xuất hiện văn hóa này trên Internet. Trái với từ “Eboy” được sử dụng tràn lan hiện nay, “E-GirL” mới là kẻ bắt đầu cuộc xâm chiếm tâm trí giới trẻ. Lần đầu tiên được sử dụng vào năm 2000, Egirl lan tỏa trên một thể loại nổi tiếng khác mà chúng ta từng biết – đó là TUMBLR. “E-Girl” là cụm từ móc mỉa, đá xoáy của cộng đồng nhằm nói tới những cô gái làm tất cả mọi thứ (Sexy, khoe thân, blah bloh) để có được sự chú ý của cánh đàn ông đương đại (Tương tự như bây giờ nếu các bạn để ý). Tumblr là một nền tảng tự do và không quá khắt khe về mặt nội dung nên ở đây – Các E-girl tung hoành. Về Thời trang của các E-Girl thì nó đi ngược với các chuẩn mực chính thống của thời đại, đa dạng và lai giữa nhiều sub-culture/pop-culture khác nhau. Có Grunge, có punk/rock hay cả anime, goth, post-goth nữa – từ trang phục đến cách trang điểm, đó là cái cách mà các E-Girl thể hiện. Nếu các bạn còn nhớ tới nữ thần Avril Lavigne của mình thì một thời A.L đã được xem là “E-Girl đời đầu”.
Cuối năm 2010 – Các “E-Boy” bắt đầu tách ra khỏi cái bóng quá lớn của E-Girl nhưng chung quy đều xoay quanh concept “Nhưng thanh niên sành điệu, cá tính và thể hiện mình trên mạng xã hội để thu hút sự chú ý của người khác”. Khái niệm “E-Boy” và “E-Girl” cũng hoàn toàn không khác nhau là mấy vì việc trở thành “E-Boy” cũng có thể là một người nữ. Các Eboy lấy cảm hứng và pha trộn từ nhiều nguồn văn hóa khác nhau – có skateboarding , hiphop, anime, cosplay và BDSM/Goth – nơi các thanh niên thể hiện bản thân và tâm tư của mình mặc dù ngoài đời họ chẳng phải là như vậy.
Với trào lưu Hallyu thì sức ảnh hưởng của K-pop cũng tác động mạnh tới các Eboy thông qua nhạc và style – cho nên phong cách Eboy là một phong cách không định hình. Việc thể hiện con người chôn giấu trên mạng xã hội khiến các cậu chàng trên đó đa cảm – dễ bị tổn thương (E trong Emotion). Từ những cậu trai nhìn yếu đuối mà các cô gái dễ đồng cảm, dễ chấp nhận và thương yêu hơn – đánh dấu một mốc thay đổi gu đàn ông và sự hấp dẫn của nam giới từ mạnh mẽ truyền thống qua hơi hướng nội và đặc biệt là “UNISEX”. (Mình nghĩ đó là sự giải thích cho từ SOFT-BOY aethestic mà các bạn hay hỏi mình ấy).
(Nên nhớ giai đoạn 2018-2020, sự trầm cảm đã bị làm quá mức khi ai ai cũng trầm cảm, ai ai cũng có một niềm đau chôn dấu và sự thành công của Billie Eilish là 1 minh chứng cho việc này. Trầm cảm không phải là một bệnh dễ chữa trị mà nó là những gì mà chúng ta phải trải qua và cần thời gian hồi phục kiên trì, nhưng có một số người lợi dụng việc này để thể hiện một con người và kéo sự đồng cảm từ mạng xã hội).
Vì cảm xúc hơn nên màu thường thấy của các Eboy sẽ là màu đen, trắng – Tông màu chủ đạo và dễ thể hiện rằng mình là 1 con người đa cảm, đa sầu. Outfit thường đơn giản, 1 chiếc Tee in graphics sad quotes hoặc phán xét như People lying, People fake – I cant believe in human. Hay chiếc áo sơ mi chất liệu mềm, vạt ngắn vạt dài để tăng độ gợi cảm. Quần luôn luôn là quần đen và giày thì tùy vào concept. Mình thấy thời trang của Eboy là một bản hòa ca lofi , nghĩa là nó mang tính đen tối của punk/rock, của goth, của BDSM nhưng lại tươi sáng hơn nhờ các khuôn mặt non choẹt của những Eboy Egirl. Và nếu các bạn để ý thì nó mang âm hưởng đủ thể loại “Grunge” “ROCK/Punk” “Cyber” “BDSM” “Goth”. Nếu mà nói về Eboy thì có lẽ mình sẽ nhắc tới Lil Peep.
Nên chung quy, mình sẽ không gọi “Eboy” “Egirl” hay Softcmnboy là một phong cách thời trang mà nó giống như một e-lifestyle, một phong cách sống ảo trên mạng xã hội. Vì đơn giản nó chẳng có một kiểu cách nào đó rõ ràng về trang phục, về kiểu đồ mà tất cả là sự hòa trộn các đa văn hóa lại với nhau và ĐẶC BIỆT THEO XU HƯỚNG, KHÔNG ĐỊNH HÌNH RÕ RÀNG.
Các bạn mặc kiểu Eboy, Egirl cũng được nhưng nếu đã mặc một thời gian rồi thì hãy tìm hiểu thêm về những thứ văn hóa mà Electric Boy/Girl đã thu thập và mix chúng lên nhé. Chúng đa dạng và đặc sắc hơn nhiều sự trầm cảm giả dối.
