ใครหวังเก็บตังค์ซื้อโน้ตบุ๊คหรือการ์ดจอต้นปีหน้าก็อาจจะต้องรอไปอีกหน่อย สืบเนื่องจากในการสัมภาษณ์ที่งาน Code Conference ครั้งล่าสุดที่ผ่านมา Dr. Lisa Su ซีอีโอของ AMD ได้ให้สัมภาษณ์กับนักข่าวเทคโนโลยี CNBC ถึงเรื่องวิกฤตชิปเซตและซิลิคอนขาดแคลน ที่สร้างความปั่นป่วนให้วงการพีซีนับตั้งแต่เริ่มเกิดโรคระบาดโควิด 19 ซึ่งลากยาวจนถึงปัจจุบัน

Lisa Su กล่าวว่าปัญหาขาดแคลนนี้จะยังคงอยู่ต่อไปตลอดทั้งปี 2021 นี้ เนื่องจากทาง AMD ต้องอาศัยคู่ค้าหรือซัพพลายเออร์ทั้งในด้านส่วนประกอบและโรงงานหล่อ ที่ตอนนี้ยังมีปัญหาลากยาวทั้งกระบวนการตั้งแต่ต้นน้ำจนถึงปลายน้ำอยู่ ทำให้ไม่สามารถผลิตทันต่อความต้องการได้

💣 แน่นอนว่าทั้งคู่แข่งอย่าง NVIDIA และ Intel ก็ยังเจอปัญหาเช่นเดียวกัน แม้ไม่กี่วันที่ผ่านมา Intel เพิ่งจะประกาศสร้างโรงงานหล่อขึ้นมาใหม่อีก 2 แห่งที่รัฐแอริโซนาก็ตาม

ส่วนในปี 2022 Lisa Su คาดการณ์ว่าในครึ่งปีแรกจะยังคง “likely tight” หรือสถานการณ์ค่อนข้างที่จะตึงตัวอยู่ แต่ปัญหาการขาดแคลนชิปจะเริ่มรุนแรงน้อยลงในช่วงครึ่งปีหลัง ซึ่งก็คงไม่ใช่เรื่องน่ายินดีกับชาวเกมเมอร์เท่าไหร่ที่จะได้ยินข่าวนี้

ที่ต่างประเทศยังแอบแซวกันว่าสินค้าช่วงวันหยุดเทศกาลปีนี้ที่ยาวตั้งแต่ Black Friday ไปจนถึงปีใหม่รวมกัน เผลอๆ ยังแพงว่าราคาปกติที่ขายตลอดทั้งปี 2020 ด้วยซ้ำ ดูตลกร้ายแต่ก็น่าจะเป็นจริง ยังไงงานนี้เราก็ต้องอดทนกัดฟันกันไปต่ออีกนานสักนิดนึงนะครับ

正仔在圖書館發現了 The Unwanteds 這個系列，然後就一頭栽進這書的魔法世界，一兩天就看完近 500 頁的內容，還要一本接著一本地看，甚至宣告 The Unwanteds 成功打敗 Percy Jackson 成為他最喜愛的小說，看到正仔如此著迷，本來都想親自閱讀看看其精彩之處，但近日太忙了，讀了網上介紹，發現故事很特別，當中把人分作 Wanted、Necessary 和 Unwanted 很有 Lois Lowry 的 The Giver 裡反烏托邦世界的感覺。Amazon 的讀者對這書的評價都很高，很吸引，似乎我真的要找些時間閱讀 The Unwanteds。
