這個月 20 號，My Chemical Romance 在洛杉磯舉辦了樂團自 2012 年 5 月以來，暌違 2771 天的演出，在 2013 年宣布解散的這組傳奇組合終於正式回歸，只有 6299 位幸運樂迷能夠進入到這個不算大的場地，從 17 號開始就有樂迷在會場外排隊，樂團也特別製作了毛毯送給這些徹夜排隊的歌迷。
大家都以為他們復出唱的只是回憶，結果當主唱 Gerard Way 詢問台下觀眾有誰是第一次看 My Chemical Romance 時，發現台下多數人都舉起了自己的手，樂迷外表看上去也都非常年輕，大家才發現 My Chemical Romance 的音樂並沒有因為解散而褪色，而是持續傳遞給了下個世代的年輕樂迷，就連Gerard Way 本人也感到非常驚訝。
這場復活首演，My Chemical Romance 一共唱了 17 首曲子，接連的兩次安可，到最後才唱了招牌的「Welcome to the Black Parade」，全場樂迷也以驚人的音量跟著合唱，並揭開樂團復活之旅的序幕！
Gerard Way 在接受媒體訪問時表示要將這場演出獻給樂團經理 Lauren Valencia，Lauren 今年因癌症去世，讓成員相當悲傷。
接下來 My Chemical Romance 將會在明年三月，前往澳洲和紐西蘭演出，月底則會前往日本，在大阪舉辦專場並出席東京的 Download Festival。

The local government in Ibaraki gave us free reign for three days to film whatever places we wanted, and our second stop was Science Square Tsukuba, a showcase of the cutting edge technologies being researched at AIST (The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology). There were A LOT of displays! We mainly filmed the areas that were somewhat interactive to make for a more engaging video, but there was a lot of really interesting information on what technologies are being developed right now! There's information in English on touchscreens next to all the displays and it is not dumbed down for anyone! I super recommend this center if you love science and technology.
This is part of Tsukuba Science City, which is a planned city in Japan that aggregates scientific academies, research institutions, museums, and even JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency--Japan's version of NASA). It's right next to the geology museum, and a few blocks away is Tsukuba Expo Center, the site of the 1985 Science Exposition. It now hosts Japan's largest observatory and planetarium. And right near that is the Tsukuba Space Center, one of Tsukuba's most popular attractions. If you're into science and technology at all, Tsukuba Science City is a must!!

《蔭中鳥》
樂曲描繪茂林成蔭,百鳥齊鳴之熱鬧景象。此曲素材取自河北一帶之嗩吶音樂,採用三部曲式結構。首兩句為引子,第一段是主題;第二段於反覆的旋律上,以不同笛子模仿各種雀鳥的叫聲;第 三段為主題旋律之再現。是次演奏採用了梆笛及哨子。
"Birds Singing in the Shade"
The music is describing the joyful and bustling picture that different kinds of birds are chirping and singing under the umbrage of trees. The piece is composed for di (Chinese transverse flute with membrane), with reference to Suona music from Hebei, North China.
The piece is in ternary form: after the introduction comes the first part, the exposition of the theme. In the second part, with the accompany of a repeating melodic line, the performer uses various types of di to imitate different birds’ sounds. The last section is the recapitulation of the theme. A combination of bangdi (high range di) and a whistle-like di are introduced in this performance.
