The name Chimac gives an impression that the place only serves Korean-style Fried Chicken and Beer (Fried Chicken + Maekju or Beer in English) but in actual fact, it dishes out a wide range of delicious Korean delights as well. The Korean restaurant is fairly new and tucked at one corner of Straits Quay; the interior decor is pretty standard but the menu is worth checking out... especially for Korean food lovers. Expect to find classics like Tteokbokki, Dakgalbi, Korean Pancakes, Steamed Eggs etc... price points are of average Korean restaurant level but the food quality has been consistently great.

It's not often you find a proper piece of 神戸牛 Kobe Beef Wagyu, & a "Chateaubriand" cut too with such beautiful fine marbling 綺麗なサシ.. The Lunch Set for this cut also starts in the HKD $4xx only.

This Shop is very well priced with great pieces of meat, the Prime cuts are proper graded Kobe Beef ™️, not just any 兵庫 但馬牛. The butchers cuts like Karubi/Galbi or Akami are Kyushu Wagyu, which are also good as standards are set by Kobe 神戸 flagship store.

In HK, there is no doubt that on a good day when they have it, Nikushou has the best Wagyu offerings by far, if u know it u will, it's on a totally diff grading horizontal plane sourced by @meatchelin . I find Great to be slightly less satisfying as before despite the beautiful butchering, sometimes it's not defrosted as well plus their Wagyu cuts don't leave as much flavor impact as at the beginning. JA direct run Yakiniku Wagyu Pure 和牛燒肉純 is under rated. Jumbo is fairly heavily Marinated & garlicky in HK shop, making it taste like a mid tier audience shop, except even Futago or Ichiro has a better sophisticated marinade.

One of the latest places to get a Nyonya meal is Blue Bellvine Nyonya Cuisine, a new Nyonya restaurant right smack in town at Noordin Street, central Georgetown. The restaurant is fairly new and boasts full-fledged Nyonya menu, from Appetizers to Main Meat dishes as well as Desserts... though the options for each category are rather limited. The restaurant has a very nice and elegant setting; you could tell from how the things are organized here- from color combinations and the choice of eating utensils. Definitely a place where you would want to spend time enjoying the dishes here (do spare some extra time as the serving time might take a little longer than usual). Prices are on the higher side though... given the small serving portion.

Ichiran ramen is one of famous ramen chain in Japan. I uploaded Ichiran ramen noodles souvenir kit before, but I have not gone to the real ramen shop yet. They released cup ramen noodles version a few days ago and it was a hot topic in Japan because the high price and no toppings. The price is 490 yen(4.6 USD), it's pricey as a cup noodles(average cup noodles are 150-200 yen). The package say they are particular about reproducing of the real shop ramen. The feature of the Ichiran ramen is thin noodles with tonkotsu pork soup and the biggest feature is the red spicy powder. Surely, the cup noodles reproduce fairly well about the feature, and yummy! But it's pricey and I want something toppings.

Iekei-ramen that many Iekei-members go to! We visited Shimonagaya "Kan-ni-ya“ in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture! The closest station is Kaminagaya Station on the Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line, but most people visit by car because it is a 15-minute walk from the station. Along the ring road No. 2 where the shop is located, it is actually a ramen battle area. There are also family stores such as "Honmoku-ya", "Suzuki-ya”, "Hama-ya", and “Judgo-ya” of ramen, as well as “Jinsho-ken" stores where the disciples of Taishoken are doing. .. Among these, "Kan-ni-ya“ is a popular store where the seats are always filled with customers without interruption! The returned soy sauce taste is fairly strong and you can enjoy a Iekei-style ramen with a punchy taste! So let's start watching the video!
＊Iekei-ramen, is a style of ramen with fatty pork-soy-sauce flavored soup with thick flat noodles. The affiliated ramen houses originating from Yoshimura-ya Ramen in Yokohama!
