The new body of work created for "Remedy" takes place in a fictional part of the world inhabited by fantastical flora and fauna.

Over time, the biome of this region has coexisted with its few human inhabitants long enough to flower new species. "Remedy" showcases the outcome of when all of these inhabitants adapt, converge, and evolve, with the environment of their enigmatic land. This process has given way to magical amalgamations with both human and floral-like characteristics such as bird-like women and pansy flowered children. These evolutionary changes blur the line between nature and its inhabitants, making distinction from one another difficult.

To remedy is to "cure" or "set right, “ and this series illustrates the symbiotic existence between mankind and nature if there was a remedy found for this ever turbulent relationship.

KK：「最近經常生暗瘡，頻密擠暗瘡想令它加速凋謝，但往後的暗瘡印卻久久不散。」

CheckCheckCin：無可否認擠暗瘡的一刻很治癒，但擠壓發炎的毛囊及皮脂腺，換來的就是久久不能退的暗瘡印。如本身屬於氣滯、血瘀體質，體內氣血運行不暢，瘀血積聚於肌膚，聚而不散留下紅印或啡印，便需要活血化瘀，可適量服用活血化瘀功效的藥材，例如赤芍、丹參、紅花、益母草、玫瑰花、山楂等。日常可適量進食有活血化瘀功效的食材，例如蓮藕、山楂、黑木耳、韭菜等有助增加血氣循環，減退痘印。謹記少吃生冷及辛辣食物，兩類食物都會影響氣血運行。如再有暗瘡出現，就要忍忍手不再擠了！

去痘印茶療
功效：清熱活血涼血，紓緩暗瘡形成及減淡深色暗瘡印。
材料：牡丹皮9克、赤芍9克、丹參9克
做法：材料洗淨放保溫瓶，以熱開水沖洗一遍，再注入熱開水焗30分鐘即可。此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡，建議一星期飲用2-3天，連續兩星期為一個療程。
備註：孕婦不宜服用。

KO the annoying acne scars
“I have an acne outbreak recently, and I always squeeze the pimples out to get rid of them. Yet, these acne always leave scars on the skin.”

CheckCheckCin: No doubt squeezing the acne can be quite satisfying, but we are squeezing the inflamed hair follicles and sebaceous glands at the same time. This is how acne scars occur, and we will have a hard time getting rid of them.

Individuals with the qi-stagnation and blood stasis constitutions will experience blood stagnation beneath the skin, forming marks that are red or brown. Hence, it is important to invigorate the blood and clear the stasis.

To do so, we can consume ingredients such as common peony root, salvia root, safflower, motherwort, rose flower, and Chinese hawthorn. Other ingredients that can invigorate the blood and clear blood stasis are lotus root, Chinese hawthorn, black fungus, and chives. These ingredients can improve the circulation of qi and blood, which can reduce appearance of acne scars.

Avoid eating raw, cold, and spicy food as they can affect the circulation of the qi and blood. Last but not least, resist the urge of squeezing the acne if you experience another outbreak in the future!

Tea remedy for pimple marks
Effects: clears heat, activates and cools blood and reduces dark pimple marks
Ingredients: 9g peony root, 9g red peony root, 9g salvia root
Preparation: rinse all ingredients thoroughly and place into thermos, rinse with hot water once. Then add in hot water again and steep for 30 minutes. You can re-brew until its flavor weakens. For best results, drink consecutively for 2-3 days. Two weeks for a treatment.
Note: not suitable for pregnant women.

【月經煩惱】一日未到個心都囉囉攣

月事遲到心慌慌？
月經準時報到當然最好，偶爾遲到一次半次也不用擔心，但如果連續兩個週期或以上都比平時延後七天或以上，中醫稱為「月經後期」，就要留意調理身體了。

月經遲到常見原因及紓緩方法：

．壓力大
伴隨症狀：經血色帶紫紅、有血塊、小腹脹痛、乳房脹痛等。
紓緩方法：疏肝解鬱，少吃生冷油膩食物

Worried about late periods?
It is good to have periods on time, and it is still fine to experience late periods occasionally. However, if it happens for two cycles consecutively or menstruation begins seven days later than its usual date, we need to start looking into the problem.
