Such was the Hayaa(shyness) Of Sāyyida Fatimā‎رضي الله عنها

Once Rasul'Allah ﷺ Walked Into The House Of Sāyyida Fatimā's رضي الله عنها With A Blind Sahabi Named Abdullah Ibn Umm Maktoum (رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ) As Soon As They Entered Her Home, She Hid In The Smallest Room Of The House.
Later Rāsul'Allah ﷺ Asked Sāyyida Fatimā رضي الله عنها Abdullah Is A Blind Man, Why Did You Hide In The Other Room?
She Replied:
"Ya Rāsul'Allah ﷺ I'm Not Blind, I Can See Him"

This Is How Much Hayaa & Shame She Had, Sāyyida Fātima رضي الله عنها

This Is Why On The Day Of Qiyyamah, When The Entire Humanity Will Be Gathered Before Our Lord, A Voice Will Be Heard Saying: "O'People Lower Your Gaze, For Now The Daughter Of Muhammad ﷺ Is About To Pass"

This Is The Greatness Of The Family Of Rāsul'Allah ﷺ

All of modesty is goodness and only goodness. This hadith gives a lot of hope and encouragement to adopt modesty in our lives. In the times that we live in, shyness/modesty is sometimes interpreted as apprehension, weakness or low self-esteem, whereas, arrogance, immodesty, brashness are often lauded and praised. But the standards near Allah (swt) are different: honour near Allah is in modesty and humility. This is why one should never feel that being modest would hamper and impede their progress in this world.
Because we see that the prevalent social vices today - such as indecency, vulgar language, obscenity - make it all the more difficult to hold on to the quality of hayaa. It's almost as though hayaa has become an endangered virtue! But we have to strive to protect it.
A believer, despite all social vices, strives to hold firm to his imaan and its branches. The believer is strong yet humble, firm yet polite, modest yet content!
May Allah enable us to adopt the virtue of hayaa.
