What Are Functional Exercises?
When we talk about a barbell, you may think of bench press exercise.
I know most of the folks want to bench heavy and have big Chest.
It's alright. I've got it. Me too. But not anymore.
When I train chest, I normally do DB Press and Dips instead. I don't care can I bench 3 plates anymore.
I do care can I Snatch 120kg and Clean & Jerk 150kg when the gym opens again.
Aright. Back to the topic.
What Are Functional Exercises?
Press, Pull, Squat, Deadlift, Carry, Sprinting are Functional Exercises to myself.
How about Rotation exercise like Landmine Rotation?
To me, it is NOT a functional exercise, but it doesn't mean you cannot do it. It can be one of the ABS exercises or one of the HIIT exercises.
Landmine Rotation can be an additional exercise of the program, but it should NOT be series A and B, and it's not related to Strength and Hypertrophy.

Today is 28/3.
Do I miss the gym? No shit. Of course.

Q: Why do you love strength training?
A: As I've only been lifting for a few months now, I am definitely still a novice. However, I can say that beginning to weightlift has been one of the best decisions I've made and I've fallen in love with it. Here are a couple of the things I love about weighlifting/strength training:
I do it because feeling strong is empowering. It’s a great stress reliever. I feel fitter and in better shape now.. No drastic diet, no torturous hours spent beating the treadmill like a rabid hamster.
It shows dedication and hard work. As a student, I understand how cramming for a test works and am all too familiar with it to be honest. But with weightlifting, you can't cram for a heavy lift. It takes months and years of dedication and hard work to reach great condition. Time is a mandatory factor for getting stronger. If you had asked me 3 months ago if I could squat 80 kg, breaking parallel, I would have said "Hell no." But today I'm confident I can walk into the gym and pull off 6 reps.
I find it super rewarding! It’s nice to see progress, right? It’s nice, when you’re “slimming down,” to step on the scales and see the numbers gradually drop, week by week. Also by doing strength training we develop a higher metabolism and be able to see greater muscle definition (make those biceps, teiceps and deltoid "pop" 💪🏻😄) .

The barbell complex is an amazing method that can be used in a number of different situations. It can be used to warm up before a heavy lift to ensure that all the major muscle groups have been hit. It can also be used as a short workout for those who don't have much time to workout. This is a just one variation of what a barbell complex would look like, feel free to come up with your own version and variation and make sure to share with us!! The 5 movements that will be used are:

2.) Front Squat
3.) Press
4.) Romanian Deadlift
