How do I train my abs? I never stick to one abs workout. I do standing abs HIIT, slow and controlled Mat workout for ABS, abs with socks / stability ball, with dumbbells, with gym machines.
All works on differently and yet it gives me the result that I want. There’s no one specific abs workout that promise a constant good abs line, that’s what I believe.
Sometimes add weights, can help to engage Core better, because you just simply have to activate the core, if not you won’t be able to do the exercise.
So let’s work on mid trunk on Saturday. Upper abs, lower abs, obliques......
Ready your yoga mat, and wear training shoes. Ready your weight 3-5kg. For those who are stronger you can try prepare 7kg for some of the exercise

I'm a lucky person who happens to attend the same gym with, my coach, kenneth Lo! From a bystander admiring his monstrous Olympic lifting skills to becoming one of his students, I courageously stepped into the 12 weeks body transformation & mentorship program.
To be very honest, Kenneth's program is of no joke & no BS! It's the most hard-core & most challenging training I've ever been through...thought of quitting in the first 3 weeks! Luckily I tried to toughen up myself & finished every bits & pieces of it. Isn't this part of the learning process? To train up both your body & at the same time, your will power as well!
In the program, skills & techniques of my lifts got polished. I became much stronger & more confident in powerlifting. Physically, I amazed myself by, on the one hand, cutting so much weight, while on the other hand, got much stronger & be able to perform better in all my lifts than before.
Being a regular gym goer, I'm a girl who likes to be lean & strong instead of just out right skinniness, this 12 weeks program had done magic! Trainers nowadays always like to say 如何減脂不減肌… the person who can lead you down this road is quote "#AskKenneth"!
Through a proper workout & nutrition plan, I learned a lot in nutrition, dieting, stress control, workout paradigms etc. which can help to achieve different goals & purposes.
Now, I progressed from being a bystander watching Kenneth doing Olympic lifting into a beginner of learning how to do it myself. So glad that I had embarked on this amazing journey & will keep on training hard to see what new challenges await.

I look for a few things in a good gym.
1) Location - it needs to be convenient or the level of friction involved in attending will reduce your frequency/regularity. It’s why so many people have gotten fit on lockdown; working out at home requires no travel time. I wish I lived closer to this one.
2) Equipment - the whole point of the gym is you’re able to manipulate gravity to load specific muscles. A large selection of well designed machines is key, though if you know how to analyse and adapt machines you’ll be able to make do with a large selection of mediocre ones. Luckily @kumareswarren is a seasoned veteran of the space and knew damn well what he was doing when he put certain machines in his shopping cart. 3 floors of machines to target pretty much any joint motion you can think of. 3) The owner - Probably the biggest contributor to the vibe of a facility. How you train is massively down to the culture a space fosters and unless it’s a big box gym (where the manager or the core demographic becomes relevant, or you just chuck headphones on and do your thing) then it’s the owner who creates this. We teach RTS in the best gyms we could find because we want to show coaches how to assess and optimise as many pieces of equipment as possible. This means they’re prepared for whatever space they’re working in, and if they’re in somewhere with limited equipment then they at least know what they’re trying to emulate.

Some of you have noticed that my body has changed physically especially in the past year and have asked me what have I done differently. I can honestly tell you that I haven’t been dieting, I just can’t be on a rigid diet because I have low appetite control, LOL!

One of the best things I did was to get my DNA test done over a year ago to understand my body better. Since then, I’ve adapted my training and food intake based on what’s most effective for my body type. Trust me, I was equally as doubtful. I mean eat and train according to your genes? Really? It wasn’t an overnight process, but hey, I have certainly noticed the difference on my physique and I feel so much better inside too.

You can do this after your gym or cardio running session.
One round of this is a good start, feel free to repeat 2 more rounds if you can take it. Be sure to maintain good form when exercising!
To get the best out of my workout videos, you must commit yourself to workout at least 3 times or more in a week (I still train about 5-6 times a week during this outbreak). Feel free to incorporate your workout with my other training routines from my channel, choose what works best for you!
