Drunk sleeping in taxis is a song that I hold very close to my heart. It is about a fear I have of not being loved the same way when I’m seen at my worst by the people I love. It is about how I can get scared to be the one I don’t like and show the worst part of me… It is very easy to idealize you and like you at your best but when you’re drunk sleeping in taxis, irrational, crying for no reason, at your worst, would people still feel the same about you? I wrote it out and it healed me. People tend to see me as a very happy, positive, smiley person which reflects true parts of me but I have so many insecurities and flaws that I’m afraid to show and the worst part of me that I’m afraid to be. This song is an act of courage to choose to share this other vulnerable page of my life cause normalizing the human side of us over perfection is something I wish I can always do. I guess the lyrics speak for themselves and with this song I just spoke my truth on a 2am night when I couldn’t sleep, few days after a party that has gone wrong...

Celebration of the Father

“Behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was sixty stadia from Jerusalem. They talked with each other about all of these things which had happened. While they talked and questioned together, Jesus himself came near, and went with them. But their eyes were kept from recognizing him. He said to them, “What are you talking about as you walk, and are sad?” One of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only stranger in Jerusalem who doesn’t know the things which have happened there in these days?” He said to them, “Foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Didn’t the Christ have to suffer these things and to enter into his glory?” Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. Did you ever wonder why out of the two disciples on the road to Emmaus, only one of them was named while the other remained anonymous?

Therefore, I believe that the name “Cleopas” is crucial to understanding the significance of this passage.

Cleopas is an abbreviated form of the name Cleopatros, made of the two Greek words “kleos” (to celebrate) and pater (father). Cleopas means “celebration of the father”.

Let us see what Jesus did in the passage. He told the two discouraged disciples all about the things concerning Himself in the Old Testament Scriptures, and how He fulfilled them all at the cross.

It was a celebration of the Father, praising Him for His glorious plan of salvation that was once hidden and is now revealed through the prophets, apostles, and the other writers of the Scriptures.

When Jesus celebrated the Father with the two disciples, their hearts “burned”, likely with faith, hope, and love in response to the love and grace of God. They experienced an “Emmaus” (meaning: hot springs) in their hearts, washing away the unbelief and refreshing their spirits.

They were no longer depressed and despondent. Instead, they were filled with hope, and energized in their bodies and souls. Having just walked a long way from Jerusalem to Emmaus, they immediately set off on a journey back to announce the good news they had seen and heard.

This world needs “Cleopas”—a celebration of the Father. They need to hear about a Father God who is gracious and full of love, who freely offers salvation through Jesus Christ His Son. They need to hear that He wants to be a Father near to them and not a Judge far off; that He is reconciling the world to Himself through Jesus, welcoming them home.

“But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation; namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation. We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:18-21‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Anytime you are feeling down, you can initiate a celebration of the Father. It will cleanse you from unbelief, refresh your spirit, fill your heart with hope, and energize your body and soul!

What are the colours of the rainbow?
Can you name them?

1. Find a comfortable position, close your eyes (if you find it difficult, try to keep your gaze soft/down).
2. Feel your breath, inhale through your nose, exhale slowly through your nose or mouth.
3. Can you feel your belly moving with your breath?
4. We will use our imagination, picture every thing I say with your eyes closed (or soft gaze).
5. Take a slow deep breath and imagine your body turning red: your eyes, nose, ears, face, arms… all your body is red and it feels nice and warm
6. On the next breath, your body is changing colour.
Your head is turning orange, arms and legs, chest and belly… all your body is orange and it makes you feel awesome
7. Take another slow and long breath.
This time, your body is turning yellow: your face, neck, shoulders, knees until your full body feels light and yellow
8. On the next breath your body is turning green like fresh green grass after a bit of rain.
9. Take another breath, allow your body to turn blue: your head, back, chest, belly, arms and legs.
You can feel your body slightly cooling down.
10. On the next breath, your eyes are turning indigo, a colour in between blue and violet: your smile, ears, neck, your whole body is covered in indigo.
What can you feel?
11. Take another breath and imagine your body changing colour again, this time your whole body is turning violet, a beautiful violet color, as beautiful as you are.
12. Now it’s time to let all the colours go from your body.
13. Imagine all the colours you have just seen: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet coming out from your heart and forming a beautiful rainbow over you
14. Take a few breaths picturing this beautiful rainbow that bring you feelings of lightness, peace and relaxation.
Can you feel it? (Pause for 10-30 seconds).
15. Take a slow breath and allow the rainbow go, but keep within you lightness, peace and relaxation
16. When you’re ready, make some small movements with your toes, fingers, neck and start opening your eyes.

◆この玩具について◆
［コレクションNo.0521］
どうも、おもしろ雑貨コレクターの伊勢海老太郎です。大好きなカップヌードルの生誕50周年を勝手に祝して、コレクションしているカップヌードルグッズを前編、中編、後編の3回に分けて紹介します。今回はその中編で、黄金のカップヌードルプラモデルの紹介です。本当は1回で全部紹介したいのですが、さすがに2時間超えの動画は長すぎるので、シーンをいくつか泣く泣くカットして3回に分けました。うん、それでも長い……ごめんなさい（笑）。後半になるにつれて盛り上がる展開にしたので、後半の15分は特にご視聴頂けると嬉しいです。昔のカップヌードルグッズが出てくるので、懐かしいと思われる方もいれば、初めて見て新しいと思われる方もいるでしょう。感想で生まれた年代がわかる動画かもしれません。今回もカップヌードルが食べたくなると思いますので、ご視聴する前にカップヌードルのご準備をお忘れなく（笑）。

カップヌードルペーパースピーカーは35年も昔なので、音が鳴るかドキドキしながら撮影をしました。結果、配線が1つ壊れていて鳴りませんでした（泣）。でも片方は鳴ってくれたので、なんとか動画にすることができました。良かった！
黄金のカップヌードルプラモデルは、細かいシール貼りがないので、通常バージョンと比べると難易度がかなり優しくなります。でも気を緩めたせいか、パーツの一部を破損させてしまうアクシデントがありました……（笑）。動画的にはネタになりましたが、これにはめちゃくちゃ焦りました。完成の致命傷になる破損でなくて良かったです。
フタ止めシールは今後レアになりそうなので、宝箱に入れてコレクションしておきます（笑）。そういえば後から知ったのですが、前編に登場したWタブのフタにプリントされたチベットスナギツネは、出現率6%のレアキャラだったみたいです。初めて開封したWタブのフタがチベットスナギツネだったので、レア感を全く感じず動画に活かすこともなく、普通に撮影して撮影後に捨ててしまいました……。
「ジダンのジダンだアクションフィギュア」は、3分経つとジダンが地団駄を踏んでカップヌードルの出来上がりをお知らせしてくれます（笑）。日韓ワールドカップの時のカップヌードル30周年キャンペーン品です。あれからもう20年経ちました……私は大学生でした。視聴者さんの中には生まれる前という方もいらっしゃるのでしょうね。
サントリー角瓶のプラモデルも作ってみましたが、こちらはすごく簡単に組み立てられました。ハイボールを飲みながら紹介したカップヌードル文房具ですが、過去に紹介したことがあるので今回は簡単に紹介しました。詳細を知りたい方は、関連リンクのカップヌードル文房具の動画をご覧ください。
宇宙人を見て懐かしいと思われた方も多いのではないでしょうか。カップヌードルのCMキャラクターで登場していました。この宇宙人の正体は「U.T.（ユー・ティー：Ultimate Taster：究極の味わい人）」だそうです。黄金カップヌードルはプラスチック製ですが、「U.T.純金フィギュア」はその名の通り本物の純金で、田中貴金属の証明書付きです。持つと大きさのわりに重量感があり驚きます。宇宙人じゃなくて、黄金のカップヌードルが純金だったら良かったですね（笑）。
「日清オリジナル ウルトラマン キッチンタイマー」は、15秒前から「ピコンピコン」、0秒になると「シュワッチ」と音が鳴ります。チーズ星人フィギュアは3分カウント専用で3分経つと「Chi!Chi!Chi!Chi!!!」と音が鳴ります。手でフタも押さえてくれます。どちらもカップヌードルを食べる時の最高の相棒になります。
カップヌードルロボタイマーのカレー味とシーフード味が初登場しました。これでカップヌードルロボタイマー3兄弟をやっと全て紹介できました。カレー味とシーフード味どちらも面白いことを喋るのですが、動画の時間の関係でほとんど早送りにしてしまいました。また機会があれば、次は早送りなしで紹介したいと思います。
1990年頃発売された「日清ビッグチャイナ」というカップラーメンのCMに出演していたジャッキー・チェンの人形が、私の最大の危機を救ってくれました（笑）。「日清Big China 音で動くダンシングジャッキー」というキャンペーン品です。
そしてジャッキー・チェンと食事を楽しんだ後は、東京おもしろ雑貨オリンピック開幕です（笑）。ここからは東京オリンピックの開会式と閉会式をご覧になられた方でないとわからないシーンが多いかと思います。東京上空をブルーインパルスが飛び開会式スタート、菅総理大臣登場、（安倍）マリオ、相撲、富士山、歌舞伎、寿司、酒、居酒屋、忍者、侍、スライム（ドラクエ入場曲）、鳩、などなど、ザ日本な雑貨も登場させてみました。そしてカップヌードル聖火台に点火して競技スタートです。
バスケットボールでは八村塁カップヌードルが大活躍、サッカーではジダン選手がドリブル、ボクシングでは伊勢海老太郎選手が連続パンチでカップヌードルを粉砕しました。そして、ラグビー、野球、ゴルフ、水泳、サーフィン、柔道、陸上、自転車、スケートボード、体操、ウエイトリフティング、卓球という流れからの「カップヌードルお好み焼き」クッキングタイム、料理もスポーツです（笑）。
そして表彰式。黄金のカップヌードルプラモデルとカップヌードルブーケの紐で金メダルを作りました。金メダルを獲得したのは……悪役に徹して動画を盛り上げてくれた宇宙人です！おめでとうございます。本当は良いやつなんですよ（笑）。ライカの新しいカメラもお披露目させて頂きました。
聖火が消え、カップヌードルお好み焼「ARIGATO」で閉幕です。東京おもしろ雑貨オリンピックはいかがでしたでしょうか（笑）。
そして舞台は2024年オリンピックのフランスに移ります。世界のカップヌードルシリーズのフランス「ポルチーニ香るきのこポタージュ」を食べ、エッフェル塔で紅茶を淹れて、カップヌードルうまい棒を食べました。カップヌードルうまい棒は50周年記念コラボ品で、公式オンラインストアとファミリーマートでカップヌードルを購入すると貰えました。欧風チーズカレー味が1番美味しかったです。
そして最後、黄金のカップヌードルプラモデルの箱の中の正体は何だったのでしょうか。日清チキンラーメンの登場？どん兵衛も登場？日清焼そばU.F.O.も登場？それでは後編にご期待ください。
