Mọi người hẳn đã quen với hai định nghĩa người hướng nội (Introvert) và người hướng ngoại (Extrovert). Nhưng có bao giờ bạn cảm thấy mình không hoàn toàn thuộc hai nhóm trên, hoặc mình có đặc điểm của cả hai nhóm không?

Mọi người hẳn đã quen với hai định nghĩa Người hướng nội (Introvert) và Người hướng ngoại (Extrovert). Nhưng có bao giờ bạn cảm thấy mình không hoàn toàn thuộc hai nhóm trên, hoặc mình có đặc điểm của cả hai nhóm không?
Thực tế, hai khái niệm này không thuộc hệ nhị phân, mà nằm trên một “phổ” (spectrum). Và nếu đã là “phổ” thì sẽ có những người nằm đâu đó ở giữa, những người này được gọi là Ambivert (Tạm dịch: Người hướng trung).
Người hướng trung còn những cái tên khác như: Người hướng nội cởi mở, Người hướng ngoại khép kín hoặc là Người hướng nội dễ gần. Họ thường điều chỉnh tính cách và hành động của mình dựa theo hoàn cảnh xã hội, cảm xúc, và mục tiêu cá nhân.
Những dấu hiệu bạn là Người hướng trung:
1. Bạn có khả năng làm việc độc lập hoặc theo nhóm và thấy ổn với cả hai
2. Bạn cảm thấy thoải mái khi giao lưu xã hội, tuy nhiên ở cạnh quá nhiều người trong một khoảng thời gian dài sẽ khiến bạn cạn kiệt năng lượng.
3. Bạn khá thích thú với việc được làm trung tâm của sự chú ý, nhưng không muốn điều đó diễn ra quá lâu.
4. Một số người nghĩ bạn trầm tính, trong khi số khác lại nhận định bạn rất hoạt ngôn.
5. Việc di chuyển không quá cần thiết đối với bạn nhưng bạn cũng không thích phải ở một chỗ quá lâu.
6. Bạn đắm chìm trong suy nghĩ của bản thân cũng như cách bạn chìm đắm vào cuộc trò chuyện.
7. Những câu chuyện tán gẫu xã giao không làm khó bạn, nhưng bạn cũng không phủ nhận việc đôi khi chúng cũng nhàm chán.
8. Bạn đa nghi nhưng cũng biết cách đặt niềm tin khi cần.
