One of my absolute favorite festivals in the world is the YeePing lantern festival in ChiangMai, Thailand. Each year during the November full moon, locals (& now tourists as well) float lanterns off into the sky filling the world with wishes for blessings in the year ahead. This year I had the good fortune of attending with Paul Foster as we continued our #ViuNoSleepNoFOMO adventure of 60 sleepless hours across ChiangMai, Lampang, & Lamphun. The good energy, the beautiful vibes, and this sky full of floating lanterns soaring up to the full moon gave me just the boost I needed to stay awake til the very end of our countdown 🌕✨🙏🏼 No Sleep No FOMO will be out in Feb 2019 on your local VIU application! 2015 was the best year so to date! This is an epic recap of the year.

I believe that a video, no matter how short, tells a story. Rather than show you the most amazing beautiful interview settings, and corporate events, and professional cameras that I used to film throughout the year, I decided to highlight more of the adventurous and memorable moments of my year with my personal camera. This demo reel reflects more of who I am and my personal passions rather than highlight the different companies and documentaries that I was able to take part in. Most of this was filmed on my days off as I took adventures throughout Thailand.
All of the shots in this reel were shot by my own hands, except for one quick moment at the Lantern Festival. There is no color correction - 100% out of camera. I use a Circular Polarizor to help out on occasion.
I purposefully didn't include any Aerial footage in this demo reel because I have a separate demo reel for those amazing shots. Check out the link up above to see that video.
