Review of a very cheap shotgun mic that I had bought in Hong Kong for 48Hours while I still had the 500D however never really used it to record direct with my camera until the 550D. It seem you can only find the version with XLR on ebay now which is the EM-9600. However have to say its not a bad microphone especially on directional it picks up only the sound where it is aimed at and all the other directions get muffled. And build quality is not bad its a metal mic and does not really feel that cheap. Also might buy some extra accessories cause I found a deadcat windjammer which could fit on it. Cause the current setup is not really useful to record outside during windy days cause the standard foam still picks up allot of wind. Check out more reviews and tips on http://www.chungdha.com
