美國白宮國安顧問 #蘇利文 日前出席例行記者會答覆美軍撤離阿富汗對台灣在內夥伴的影響時表示，對台灣與其他盟邦的承諾一向 #神聖不可侵犯（sacrosanct）、#台灣與阿富汗本質上是不同問題、#美國對台灣承諾一如既往的堅實，外交部由衷感謝美國政府重申對台堅若磐石的支持！
外交部吳部長近期多次受訪表示，台灣位處威權主義擴張的最前線，國家安全是我們自己的責任，我們將自我捍衛直到最後，台灣將持續提升自我防衛能力，以捍衛自由與民主生活方式，也爭取與美國及其他理念相近國家合作，為印太區域長遠的和平、穩定與繁榮作出貢獻。
