One step forward ❤️
Super happy for this initiative by @gucci !
I’ve always wanted to support brands which injects environmental consciousness in their process. I’m so happy to know that the recent #GucciOffTheGrid collection’s main material is 100% regenerated nylon (from fish nets, carpets and other scraps).
Their sewing threads are made out of recycled polyester from PET bottles. Other parts are also made from recycled brass, gold and other solvent free adhesives. Woohoo! Sis is happy!

Designed by Creative Director Alessandro Michele, Gucci Off The Grid is created using recycled, organic, bio-based and sustainably sourced materials, including ECONYL®, made from regenerated Nylon (from abandoned fishing nets, old carpets and other scraps—including plastics that harm marine life and old materials that will likely end up in landfills) coupled with solvent-free recycled polyester (from PET bottles).

Gucci Off The Grid is the first collection from Gucci Circular Lines, created in line with the House’s vision for circular production. Messenger bags, hats and wallets are all created using ECONYL®, made from regenerated nylon (from abandoned fishing nets, old carpets and other scraps—including plastics that harm marine life and old materials that will likely end up in landfills) coupled with solvent-free recycled polyester (from PET bottles) as well as recycled materials and more sustainable alternatives. To support a continued cycle, the ECONYL® offcuts are recovered from Gucci’s manufacturing and transformed into new high-quality yarn.
