入秋後的身體反應
立秋過後,有否感到一點「燥」意?秋天屬金,金主肺,秋氣與人體的肺氣相通,肺為嬌臟,喜潤惡燥,而「燥」為秋季的主氣,秋燥最易傷肺,容易引起呼吸道問題,例如鼻黏膜、嘴唇、口腔感到乾燥、氣管不適、流鼻血,亦容易引起燥咳,伴隨症狀為喉嚨乾痛、無痰或少痰(質黏難吐出)、痰有血絲等。
中醫理論認為「肺主皮毛」,秋燥亦容易令皮膚乾燥、乾裂、痕癢甚至敏感,或者引起濕疹發作。而「肺與大腸相表裡」,秋燥亦會引致大便乾結甚至便秘症狀。
對付秋燥,一字記之曰:潤!適量進食有滋陰潤燥功效的飲食,例如雪梨、雪耳、花旗參、百合、芝麻、蜂蜜、枇杷、石斛、杏仁、海底椰、玉竹、沙參等。避免熬夜、進食辛辣、煎炸食物,以免加速耗損身體津液。亦要減少進食薑、蔥、蒜、辣椒等辛辣發散之物,以避免耗散陽氣。不忘每日飲米水,強健脾胃功能,才能有效吸收食材中潤肺滋陰的功效。

Body’s reaction going into fall
Do you feel a little ‘dry’ in the beginning of autumn? Autumn belongs to the element of gold, and gold manages the lungs. When autumn’s qi interacts with the qi in the human lungs, which is a moist-loving delicate organ, and the dryness can affect the lungs the most. This will lead to breathing problems such as dryness in the nasal mucosa, lips and oral cavity, breathing discomfort, nose bleeding, dry cough. Other accompanying symptoms are dry and painful throat, the absence or small amount of thick gooey phlegm, and blood-streaked phlegm.
According to Chinese Medicine theories, lungs are the master of the skins and hair, autumn dryness often leads to dry, cracked, and itchy skin and even causes skin sensitivity as well as eczema. ‘Lungs and large intestines have an interior-exterior relationship’, autumn dryness might also cause symptoms like dry stool and even constipation.
To combat autumn dryness, remember one word – moistness! Consume an appropriate amount of food that can nourish the yin and relieves dryness, such as pear, snow fungus, American ginseng, lily bulb, sesame, honey, loquat, dendrobium, sweet almond, sea coconut, polygonatum root and glehnia root.
Avoid sleeping late; avoid eating spicy and deep fried food, to prevent fluid loss. Limit the intake of spicy ingredients such as ginger, onion, garlic and chili, to avoid exhausting the yang energy. Drink rice water on a daily basis, as it can strengthen the functions of the spleen and stomach, which in turn can improve the absorption of the essence of ingredients, and moisten the lungs as well as nourish the yin.

順便一提,餐廳採用了Open Kitchen,食客可透過玻璃看到師傅在廚房內的情況,頗為特別。餐廳和丸手茶作合作,也提供各樣有特色的台式珍珠飲品。

全盒的賣相相當精緻,一共有六款點心:
(左上,順時針方向介紹) 鮮蝦餃皇、安蝦鹹水角、乾蒸牛肉燒賣、臘味煎蘿蔔糕、青蛙皇子(豆沙餡包子)、金箔芝麻糕

整體來說,六款點心的味道也頗不錯。個人最喜愛吃臘味煎蘿蔔糕,蘿蔔糕表面煎得微脆,能吃到粒粒臘味,整體味道香口。

另外,點了一個二人用的午市商務套餐,套餐連茶芥和加一約三百二十元。

二小碟 - 京式肴肉、醬香蘿蔔

兩款冷盤感覺開胃,肴肉的味道鹹鹹香香,爽脆的漬蘿蔔喚醒了正在沉睡的味蕾。

是日燉湯 - 金銀菜南北杏燉白肺湯
(Double-boiled Soup with Pork Lung, Apricot Kernel and Dried White Cabbage)
和朋友一人有一盅燉湯,份量充足,而且能嚐到相當重的菜乾味,感覺滋潤。朋友則覺得豬肺肉可以洗得更乾淨。

雙式點心 - 鮮蝦餃皇、花菇燒賣
(Steamed Shrimp Dumpling & Steamed Siu Mai with Mushroom)
兩款點心上桌時還是熱騰騰的,口感濕潤飽滿,令人相當滿足。個人較為喜愛吃 鮮蝦餃皇,蝦餃皮厚薄適中,而且裡面的蝦仁爽口彈牙。

豬肉炸得酥脆,而且醬汁酸甜適中,伴飯一流,還有不少菠蘿粒和燈籠椒片作伴菜。

蠔油醬汁鹹鹹香香,而且花菇燘得頗為入味,鮑魚也頗有嚼勁。侍應會細心地為每一位食客分菜。

炒飯粒粒分明,鑊氣十足,香而不膩,相當有驚喜。彈牙的海參粒份量充足,頗為慷慨。

煎堆上面是燕窩碎,相當豪氣。煎堆外面炸得微脆,裡面的奶黃質感幼滑,味道又不會太甜,值得一試。

We had such an interesting experience eating seafood in Phuket today. It started with 30mins car ride to Laem Him boat jetty, then around 20 meters going into a private property before taking a long tail boat ride to Bung Mud Seafood Floating Restaurant. It is located right in between of Coconut Island and Laem Him. All the seafood are in those square net, once you order your meal they will took them out. It cant get any fresher than that. Johan said, if you want any fresher meal you just have to swim and bite the fish yourself 😂 They have all kind of seafood, I kid you not. From sea urchin to star fish to just about anything. Will surely come back and highly recommend. Maybe I should write a blogpost about the restaurant as Im already starting to treating this caption section as one 😁

This is it. The Competition Day Video.
Anyway show time finally came! My mom was a super star helping me backstage and for the sake of assisting me behind, she couldn't see me on stage. I was blessed. Back stage all the others were getting tan cream on them. Everyone was pretty focus not talking which is understandable. But before going on stage some of the girls loosened up. It was good my mom was there, it also gave comfort to the other girls lol. I lent my mom to the rest.
I didnt feel nervous, cause i was honestly just focused on smiling and eating food after the comp. It was really tiring though posing on stage. Everything started cramping. But you have to hold it and maintain that smile. I did what i could and showed off whatever asset i had. Just too bad my football theme costume didn't show my back enough.
Getting called out for top 10 was music me. I know my physique wasnt as lean but i gave the best performance i could. The medal was enough for me at that moment. knowing my family, my boyfriend and my friends were in the crowd really was a confidence booster.
