Deemed by many as Tinker Hatfield’s greatest creation, the beloved Air Jordan 11 comes in multitudes of iconic colorways. But the black and red “Bred” version has been retroed the most and for good reason – MJ won his first title after coming out of retirement while wearing these in 1996. The photograph of Jordan lying in the locker room, crying with these on, remains one of the most famous pics of his Airness to this day.

This variation of the AJ1 was released to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the sneaker. Fans will notice a slightly higher ankle just like the original 1985 mold of the Air Jordan 1 and the most premium leather for the black and red panels throughout.

I love the Superstar for the way it radiates as a classic icon; pioneering the connecting of dots between hip-hop and sneaker culture.

The legendary shell-toe earned its place in history when Run-DMC dropped their hit single “My adidas” in 1986.

My first wide eye moment however was Missy Elliot’s “Gossip Folks” music video. The female dancers had their three stripes jacket on and Superstar on their feet. I wanted to own a pair then, and I still feel the same now.

The reason why we’re able to celebrate Superstar’s timelessness and longevity is because of its versatility. For over 50 years now, it’s worked with any outfit, in any room, for any occasion.

This representation of classic is what I strive to achieve as an artiste.

Finally! We done 95% of our #shengyixtziahome Reno, there’s still corners that are work-in-progress. However, we thought, we should do the house tour video now, and slowly work on the remaining 5%, where we might or might not do another YouTube video, but would definitely share it on our Instagram. So stay tune.

This house was the effect of MCO I would say, if it wasn’t because of us being forced to stay home for such a long period of time last year, we might not thought of moving because we were so used to working outside, and home was just a place for us to sleep in after a long day. We never really put it thoughts about moving in to a bigger space, and possibly the next stage of life.

Back to what has already done for #shengyixtziahome thus far... I just want to say, I’m so proud of us! Hard work paid off, when we finally got this house that is comfortable enough for us to stay in the entire day, and a place we can finally host our family & friends for drinks & dinner. Yay!

We are just really HAPPY in this space, that is just so #shengyixtzia. Hahah.
