俐媽真的有夠拚!
上禮拜和主任、編輯開了N個會,
回答眾多針對北/全模、開學英文學習的私訊,
還錄了3課網版!
魂都快空了😵😵😵~
其中一課是翰林遠東的B3L3 A Journey Through Time,
文中提到時空旅行的可能性及結果,
更提到愛因斯坦的相對論(Theory of Relativity),
及好萊塢電影Interstellar 「星際效應」
回家和師丈討論到Interstellar,

Of course there are celebrities, who have demands. Every time a certain action star is back, the team knows he won’t leave until he’s eaten three specially prepared hamburgers. A former Charlie’s Angel used to get so cranky waiting for her Red Bull, it’s now always available where she can grab it. Most—but not all—of these requests are catered to within private rooms nested like Russian dolls inside the lounges.
The most VIP way through LAX isn’t at LAX at all, but via a separate terminal on the far side of the runway. The Private Suite is a members-only club that costs $4,500 per year, plus a minimum of $2,700 per flight. (An offshoot is in the works at JFK.) If that’s your thing, it’s a good deal: Each stay includes $2,000 in minibar amenities, plus massages, manicures, haircuts, and car service straight to the aircraft. And yet, the average member spends one measly hour in their personal suite.
That’s because the biggest value proposition is time saved—security here is a car-door-to-plane-door affair, much like flying private. And since the whole operation is pre-TSA, passengers can get delivery service from Nobu or a one-on-one session with their personal tailor.
So who buys in? About 50% of the members are business execs; the others are celebs escaping the paparazzi. Meghan Markle’s mom used the facility en route to the royal wedding, and Jamie Foxx is a fan, too.
At least some of that inflation is due to the high costs of operating in an airport. Consider the limited storage space and that all goods need to fit through security, which means retailers can’t buy in bulk. Add the high cost of labor—airport employees get compensated for parking, as well as a daily hour of extra commuting time I personally endured to and from the off-site employee lot—and the $6 bottle of water starts to make more sense. But even with all those added costs, most franchises report that their LAX outposts are their brand’s most profitable locations.

Allen Iverson had every reason to feel good after his performance kept Philadelphia close to the division lead.
Surely the mood changed when the Sixers All-Star found out he was injured.
Iverson outperformed Kobe Bryant, scoring 36 points and leading a decisive third-quarter run in the 76ers' 108-91 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
Iverson helped pull the Sixers (31-33) to four games of Boston for first place in the Atlantic Division.
"It made me feel good," Iverson said. "Any win makes me feel good."
Iverson, though, chipped a bone in his left thumb sometime in the second half and will be fitted for a cast. He is day-to-day. The Sixers said Iverson will be re-evaluated Friday when they play again at Cleveland.
Iverson left the arena before the injury was announced.
The Sixers certainly need the league's leading scorer if they're going to make any kind of run at the Celtics.
"We would like to have that (winning) streak right now," said Iverson, before he knew the X-ray results.
Andre Iguodala scored 15 points for the Sixers, adding a few more spectacular dunks, including an alley-oop where he came crashing down on Jumaine Jones. Kyle Korver had 14.
Bryant -- who came in trailing Iverson by nearly two points in the league scoring race -- led the Lakers with 20 points, but had little help. The Lakers (32-31) fell out of the eighth and final spot in the Western Conference.
Bryant made five of nine shots in the first quarter, but went 1-for-6 the rest of the game.
"We've got to get more people involved," Bryant said. "They were doubling me and the shots weren't falling."
Iguodala had plenty to do with that. The Sixers rookie kept a hand in Bryant's face most of the game and aggressively contested his shots. Iguodala said he watched plenty of tape to prepare for one of his toughest assignments.
"I knew if I kept my hands up and kept nagging him a little bit that I could make him take a tougher shot," Iguodala said.
Bryant scored 16 points in the first quarter and Iverson had 14 as the two seemed poised for a one-on-one showdown between All-Stars. But Bryant slowed down, thanks largely to the sticky defense by Iguodala, while Iverson kept driving and crashing.
Iverson scored 14 points during a 26-9 run in the third quarter by doing what he does best -- drive the lane, look for the layup and get to the line. When he couldn't do that, Iverson would dribble around the perimeter until he found an open look.
He took six of Philadelphia's 16 shots in the third (making three) and went 7-for-7 from the line. Overall, Iverson went 14-for-15 from the line and 10-for-22 from the floor.
On one fallaway layup from the right side, Iverson was fouled by Chucky Atkins. Atkins bitterly complained and was hit with two quick technicals and ejected from the game.
Korver sank the two free throws for a 66-50 lead. Rodney Rogers hit a 3-pointer near the end of the third, giving Philadelphia a 28-point lead.
Chris Webber again was a non-factor for the Sixers. He scored Philly's first two baskets of the game, sat out 5 minutes of the second quarter and missed his last six shots for five points.
Webber remained baffled as to why he has looked little like the five-time All-Star he was in Sacramento. Of course, watching Iverson take a bulk of the shots and not having coach Jim O'Brien call plays for Webber might have something do with his struggles.
"I don't want to put my finger on it," Webber said. "It's not because it's late in the season. I didn't become this player in one day."
Game notes
Bryant, who went to nearby Lower Merion High School, needed about 30 tickets. Among those invited were players on this year's Merion team and his former coach, Gregg Downer. Lower Merion plays in the Class AAAA state semifinals Wednesday night. Bryant said he loved playing in Philadelphia, even though he's always booed. "If I played here, they'd love it with the Philly attitude I have," he said. "But I enjoy coming here because of that." ... The Sixers are 17-10 when Iverson scores 30 or more points

Allen Iverson expected the Philadelphia 76ers to own the kind of killer instinct that can finish off teams for good once they build a double-digit lead.
Because they don't consistently have one, sub-500. teams such as Indiana can rally and finish off the Sixers at home.
Danny Granger scored 26 points and Dahntay Jones had 18 points to lead the Pacers to a 109-98 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.
"At times, when we can put teams away, we go about it in a lackadaisical way," Iverson said. "We're going to continue to struggle as long as we don't have that killer instinct that everybody's been talking about."
The Pacers earned a split of the home-and-home series after Philadelphia won 107-97 on Saturday night. Jones scored seven straight points late in the fourth quarter that helped the Pacers put this one away for a rare road win.
Brandon Rush scored 16 points, and Troy Murphy had 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Pacers.
"It's hard to beat a team twice," Granger said.
Andre Iguodala scored 22 points and Iverson had 20 for the Sixers. Philadelphia failed in its bid to win three straight games for the first time this season.
"We do a lot of things positive on the basketball court, we're just not putting together whole games," Iverson said. "That's the frustrating part, because a game like this, we're supposed to win."
Pacers coach Jim O'Brien blamed Saturday's loss on fatigue caused by a schedule that had the Pacers play nine sets of back-to-backs since Dec. 18. The Pacers had won Friday at Detroit.
Maybe a night's rest made a difference down the stretch.
Jones hit a layup, a short jumper and converted a three-point play in about 90 seconds that gave the Pacers a five-point lead. Rush sealed it with a big 3-pointer that stretched the lead to 105-98 and sent fans fleeing toward the exits.
"I thought it was a game we can build on," O'Brien said.
The Sixers can blame this loss on a miserable third quarter. They built a double-digit lead on some of their sharpest shooting of the season, only to watch it collapse because of a five-basket third quarter. The Sixers couldn't make up for a nearly six-minute scoring drought spanning the third and fourth quarters.
Iguodala missed the bulk of the shots -- a dreadful 2-of-9 -- that let the Pacers grab the lead for the first time in the game.
The Sixers shot 62 percent in the first half and only led by three. They also never trailed until Murphy's 3-pointer minutes into the third put the Pacers ahead 63-60.
The Pacers kept making their shots and that was enough to win the battle between two struggling teams that still have a shot at the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference playoff standings.
"We need to close games at home," 76ers forward Elton Brand said. "We need to really put that team away."
Iverson, an All-Star starter, got the Sixers back in a groove when his first 3 of the game pulled them within two. Lou Williams, who scored 16, sank three straight free throws after he was fouled on a 3-point attempt that made it 91-90.
Murphy and Granger -- who shot a combined 15-for-28 -- scored back-to-back buckets that held off the Sixers' charge.
Iguodala fought inside for a tough basket that made it 95-92 and a fadeaway that kept the deficit at three. The Sixers just couldn't make the stops. Jones tossed in a one-hander down the lane between Brand and Iguodala.
Williams, benched twice recently for the entire fourth quarter, cut it to 99-97 on a 3 in front of Indiana's bench. It was just too late and the Sixers lost their 10th game after holding a double-digit lead.
"We went back to our old ways and let it slip away from us," Iverson said. "Games like this, we've got to have."
