Choy Sum Vegetable Jiaozi 🥢🌱🥟 dumplings 菜心餃子. Blitzed in the Food processor some left over greens and then wrapped up some parcels to occupy time, as many in Hong Kong are stuck at home during the COVID-19 virus epidemic, albeit I have been going out after a while as one can't hold sanity any longer 😟. The Pan Fried version was straight forward, for the Boiled version I made 2 shapes to compare, preferring the Fun Guo 粉粿 shape. A really informative chat with fitness and health expert Ben Siong. For all my sisters, who have always questioned bout why they have irregular periods, why they bloat, why they have painful periods, what's the possible cause for bleeding more than two weeks here's a video that will help explain those questions!
The human body is very complicated and my dear sisters, ours is even more complicated cause we have a thing called the period. Ben is one of the few coaches who takes the time to not only understand the physiology of the body but also the mind which is incredibly crucial. Would those decreased levels of hormones, and reduced neuroprotection also impact CNS recovery? And would female athletes have to then avoid highly taxing sessions/peaking periods during this time frame?

Is this accurate? If so should females generally avoid deadlifts/front squats/lower back intensive exercises during this period? Should they be left out entirely, or replaced by something else?

今天,2018年9月9日,農曆七月三十日,就是隔幾年才能夠見到的「南無大願地藏王菩薩」的聖誕。
吾虔心地告訴妳你們,外面的傳說是不確實的。「南無大願地藏王菩薩」確實是幽冥教主,更是一位大菩薩,所以就會有很多的護法金剛圍繞著祂。祂在地獄境界裡,有祂的淨土,名為「翠微淨土」。
佛經記載,誰祇要在家裡供奉祂,不但沒有魍魎魑魅、鬼怪事情,反而還能夠得到以下這十大功德利益:
如果妳來世不願再做女兒身,瞻禮祂供奉祂就能夠得男兒身。
夜夢平安、氣色顏好、不遇盜賊,等等等。
所以在今天,大家可以先沐浴,可以齋戒就齋戒,在客廳的沙發,或壇城前坐端正合掌,恭唸「南無大願地藏王菩薩」,7、21、49、108、1080遍,越多越好。可迴向給自身、家庭、父母或需要幫助的人,比如在醫院的病人,都會得到很大的加持,而能夠如意圓滿。
祝福大家一切吉祥圓滿。

Today, 9 September 2018, also the 30th day in the 7th Lunar Month, is the Holy Birthday of the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (Namo Di Zang Wang Pu Sa) which occurs every few years.
Please hear my sincere words that the rumours you heard are unfounded. The Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is indeed the Lord of the Netherworld, but also a Great Bodhisattva surrounded by many Dharma Protectors. His Pure Land, named Cui Wei Pure Land, is in the Netherworld
According to the Scriptures, anyone who enshrine the statue of the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva at Home will receive protection against malevolent spirits and reap the 10 merits:
If you do not wish to be born as a woman in your next life, you can pay respect and make offerings to His statue.
You enjoy peaceful sleep, good appearance, protection against theft, etc.
Thus everyone can perform this auspicious recitation today. First, please bath yourself and observe vegetarian diet if possible. Seat yourself comfortably on the living room sofa or in front of the altar in straight posture and with your palms together. Recite “Namo Di Zang Wang Pu Sa” 7 times or 21, 49, 108 times. You will reap more merits if you recite a higher number. After the recitation, you may dedicate the merits generated to yourself, your family and parents, or another person who needed help, such as a patient in the hospital. The recipient will receive great empowerment and blessings.
