A quick #throwback of my visit to Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in #Florence. It is still currently undergoing restoration work. Apparently the internal restoration will be completed in 2020 but some parts/sections will remain closed as the work of restoration begins in 2020 itself.
The Duomo Florence or Cathedral of Florence is a massive, huge, magnificent structure survived more than 600 years. Impressive!
Hope to travel to #Italy again to discover other regions too!

Elle est le cœur de Paris, l’histoire et le patrimoine français. Dans le monde entier, les images de Notre Dame sous les flammes sidèrent. Merci aux pompiers qui combattu courageusement le feu pendant des heures et ont permis de sauver la structure de la cathédrale.

面對著大自然、面對著災害，人真的很渺小⋯⋯雖然大家不是巴黎人、不身在其中，但眼見這850多年歷史的巴黎聖母院毀於一旦，內心的確很痛！
我曾經，每日上學都會經過Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris，一直想帶孩子去參觀，如今，一切也不似如期！
生命中，每件事情的發生也可有其因由！生命無常，世事往往就提醒著我們要珍惜、知足！領悟平淡的幸福！

A massive fire consumed Notre-Dame Cathedral on Monday, gutting and destroying the spire and roof of the Paris landmark and stunning France and the world, but firefighters said they had saved the shell of the stone structure from collapse.
