Luxembourg -
.
Luxembourg - a chill place for a day trip
.
In Luxembourg, everything seems so expensive. Hence, we just wandered around. Sadly speaking, the city did not offer passport stamp.
.
Tip: To save money from Brussels to Luxembourg:
1. Purchase a 10-journey ticket for euro 77 to travel from Brussels to Arlon. The ticket can be shared with travel companions and extra tickets can be used to travel to other cities.
2. Purchase a round-trip train ticket from Arlon - Luxembourg. (There is weekend discount for the day return train ticket.)
3. The online source claims that it would be cheaper to split the train ticket (Arlon-Luxembourg) into a train ticket for a.Arlon-Kleinbettingen and b. full-day ticket for Luxembourg. And,it can be used on the same train. But, we are too scared to try.🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂

Info berguna!
8 BENDA PENTING SEBELUM KE KANSAI, JAPAN 🇯🇵⛩
Last year aku ada pergi Kansai selama 10H9M, 30 April - 9 May 2017. Masa tu Golden Week, maksudnya pekerja Jepun dapat cuti dalam seminggu, dikira macam public holiday jugak lah. So, elakkan datang tarikh ni ya, haha.
Kansai meliputi beberapa daerah di Jepun termasuklah Hyogo, Kyoto, Mie, Nara, Osaka, Shiga & Wakayama. Aku pergi Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nara, Hyogo & Wakayama je.
1. TIKET FLIGHT (PROMO AIRASIA), KUL-KIX-KUL : RM806.88/PAX
2. LUGGAGE 20KG (RETURN) / SHARING WITH 4 PAX : RM51/PAX
3. INFLIGHT MEALS (RETURN), 1 MEAL RM15/PAX : 2 MEALS RM30/PAX
Sementara nak sampai tu, isi lah perut dulu atas flight. Beli online lagi murah berbanding beli atas flight tau! So, dari KUL-KIX, aku ambil Roast Chicken & Cranberry Gravy (sedap!), untuk balik aku ambil Nasi Lemak Pak Nassier (sedap sebab dapat makanan Malaysia!).
4. PENGINAPAN 9 MALAM DI OSAKA (SHARING 4 PAX) : RM388.75/PAX
Kitorang booking guna Airbnb. Guest House ni kat area Shin-Osaka & memang complete ada katil, selimut, ruang tamu, PC, Wifi rumah, Pocket Wifi, tempat memasak, sinki, toilet, shower, mesin basuh, ampaian, softlan, softener, tuala, selipar rumah, payung (kalau hujan boleh guna) & macam-macam lagi. Cuma jauh dari airport sikit, 1 jam 15 minit. Kawasan keliling ada farmasi, mart & etc. Suruh lah kawan korang sign up guna referral code korang, lepastu boleh dapat discount coupon.
5. MAKANAN DARI MALAYSIA (SHARING 4 PAX) : RM100/PAX
Kitorang kumpul total jadi RM400, tapi dalam RM200 je guna untuk beli makanan Malaysia macam maggi, Brahim’s (beli kat kilang kat Bangi murah), sambal hitam & macam2 lagi. Lebihan RM200 kitorang guna untuk beli bahan mentah kat Jepun ni macam salmon, buah-buahan & jajan.
6. PASS UNTUK TRANSPORT DI KANSAI, JEPUN
1. Osaka Amazing Pass (OAP) 2 days = RM130/pax
2. Kansai Thru Pass (KTP - 1 tiket 3 hari) 6 days = RM205 x 2 = RM410/pax
Mudahnya beli melalui apps Klook ni, nanti just boleh tunjuk e-ticket di kaunter H.I.S kat airport KIX.
So, korang pergilah survey both Insurance ni.
8. VALIDATION OF PASSPORT
PASSPORT JANGAN LUPA, check dulu make sure valid lebih dari 6 bulan. Macam aku 7 bulan sebelum expiry date. Sebelum nak fly, decide nak buat passport baru sebab takut tak lepas passport, pastu tanya orang yang dah banyak kali pergi Japan, ada yang cakap boleh lagi. So aku tak buat baru, selamat RM250 hahaha.
Aku masukkan semua printed things ni dalam satu file, senang untuk aku cari dan bawa incase battery phone habis, powerbank tak charge and so on.
Sayonara.

Highlights from the awesome(!!!) opening night of ‘Pink Fong Baby Shark Live Musical’ at KLCC Plenary Hall! 🌟🌟🌟
We had so so much fun dancing, laughing and singing to familiar favorites and new songs with the full cast from Korea!
If you have a little fan that enjoys musicals, I would highly recommend it! 😍🎉 We had such a blast together on our little date and we’re even planning on coming back to see it one more time before it closes.
***
Tickets are available at the box office or online ( pinkfong.com/musicalmalaysia2018 ) and are priced at RM88/RM138/RM228.
Shows are 11am, 2pm and 6pm from 8-16 Sept 2018.

Some insider mama-to-mama tips:
❤️ Bring a little jacket, it’s cinema theater type of cold. 😂😅
❤️ Depending in which show you go to, snack or an early meal before as food and drinks aren’t allowed in the theater. No recording/pictures too.
❤️ Arrive on-time!!! The doors close as soon as the first number start and you won’t be allowed in until the 30min mark. We took the train in and it was an extra bonus for our transportation lover while not being stuck in rush hour traffic!
❤️ Potty before or diaper if you’re in the between stage. The show is 65 minutes long and it’s only single entry with no breaks.
❤️ No strollers allowed inside but there’s a designated area to leave your strollers if you bring one.
❤️ Children over 2 years old are required to have their own ticket/seat.
❤️ Depending on your child’s personality, the cast usually comes down to say hi during parts of the show so you can decide how far or near to the stage you’d like and how much interaction.
The great news is even though we had front row seats (thank you PINKFONG!), Ella Grace didn’t feel overwhelmed (or overtouched) as the cast was quite respectful of her personal space and personality. She had a blast and even voluntarily high-fived some of them! 🤗
❤️ It does get a little loud for little ears so bring along headphones if your teeny tiny prefers them.
❤️ But mostly just relax, enjoy your time together and HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope this Taiwan Alishan travel guide video and notes below helps you. If you have a question please leave a comment below.
- 8:30 AM ARRIVE CHIAYI STATION
That’s the TRA station - not the high speed rail. If arriving by high speed rail allow up to 30 minutes to catch a taxi to the TRA station.
For a guide to trains and buying train tickets in Taiwan see this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDpdUGs7HNM)
- 9:00 AM TRAIN FROM CHIAYI STATION TO FENQIHU STATION (runs at 9:00 on weekdays, 9:30 and 10:00 on weekends, trip time 2.5 hours)
You can’t go all the way to Alishan station now as the track was damaged in a typhoon and they’re not going to fix it).
You can buy tickets in advance here: https://afrch.forest.gov.tw/. The website is only in Chinese so use google chrome on your computer to translate the page. Pay by credit card then pick the ticket up at ANY major train station when you arrive in Taiwan (show your passport at the ticket window).
Guide to the train numbers here: http://taiwan-itinerary.blogspot.com/2016/10/alisan-railway-tickets.html.
- LUNCH AT FENQIHU
Fenqihu was the popular stop for loggers at lunchtime so it’s a really cute little old town. The bento shop shown in the video is next to the 7-Eleven. When you arrive at Fenqihu, go all the way down the stairs, walk straight down the street and you’ll see it. Fenqihu isn’t big so you can wander around for the rest of the time. Unfortunately unless you stay in Fenqihu overnight, there’s not enough time to go hiking or see the lake (which is what the town is named after).
- BUS FROM FENQIHU TO ALISHAN TRANSPORT STATION
Use google maps for directions on where to catch the bus from (up on the highway). Set your destination as “Alishan station” and select directions for public transport. Schedules say the bus leaves at 2:40 but we arrived at the highway just before 2:30 and the driver said it was already past time to leave. So get there a little early! This is apparently the last bus, although you can catch another bus to Shizao, then change for a bus to Alishan (that seemed too annoying so we didn’t do it).
- DINNER AT ALISHAN
I haven’t seen one good food review on Alishan (it’s not what you’re there for anyway!) - so we just got beers and instant noodles from the 7 Eleven and enjoyed them at the hotel.
- STAY AT ALISHAN HOUSE
Look around for deals online, or stay at another hotel near the Alishan station (https://goo.gl/maps/Mn2yTnAAoWn). There are quite a few. Don’t expect a cheap hotel to have good facilities, this is a very popular tourist destination. Book early especially in peak season!
- SUNRISE TRAIN
Tickets for the sunrise train (around 350nt round trip) are sold the afternoon before at the Alishan train station. If staying at Alishan house you can buy them straight from the hotel reception, or if staying somewhere else, go to Alishan train station to buy these.
- HIKING
There are trails around the train station area. Pick up a map from the station or your hotel. The train on top of the mountain can also take you to some of the attractions if you’re tired of walking.
- BUS BACK TO CHIAYI
Get a timetable from the 7-11 at the transport station (or your hotel will have one). Use your easycard/ipass card to pay for the bus fare BUT you need to “save your bus spot” at the 7 Eleven first. I tried doing this 30 minutes before catching the bus but there were no spots left so we had to wait 1.5 hours until the next bus. So do this as early as you can. The last bus leaving from Alishan transport station to go down the mountain is around 5:00 pm.
There are taxi drivers around the transport station trying to get you to go down the mountain with them. I don’t recommend this option.
