Did you know that through the U.S. Container Security Initiative (CSI), Kaohsiung and Keelung Port Customs Officials work with U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers to pre-screen maritime cargo containers destined for U.S. ports? The primary purpose of CSI is to protect the global trading system and trade lanes between CSI ports and the United States. This is another good example of U.S.-Taiwan cooperation!

ช่วงเวลาที่ผ่านมา คงไม่มีตลาดหุ้นไหนสามารถทำผลงานได้โดดเด่น อย่างตลาดหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกา
ที่ทำให้นักลงทุนสัมผัสได้ถึงความร้อนแรง จนเกิดคำถามว่า หลังจากนี้ โอกาสของหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกาจะเป็นอย่างไร ?

เมื่อวันที่ 18 สิงหาคมที่ผ่านมา ลงทุนแมน ร่วมพูดคุยกับ 2 ผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากกองทุนบัวหลวง

ถึงประเด็นสำคัญในการลงทุนหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกาในช่วงเวลานี้

เรื่องราวสำคัญที่นักลงทุนควรรู้ จะมีอะไรบ้างนั้น ?
ลงทุนแมนจะสรุปให้ฟังเป็นข้อ ๆ แบบเข้าใจง่าย

1. ภาพรวมของเศรษฐกิจและตลาดหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกา ?

ความร้อนแรงของตลาดหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกาในช่วงที่ผ่านมา เป็นผลมาจาก 2 ปัจจัยหลัก คือ
- นโยบายการเงินการคลัง ที่สามารถส่งต่อไปยังภาคธุรกิจ และภาคการบริโภคได้จริง
- การกลับมาของภาคธุรกิจ ทั้งจากกลุ่มธุรกิจที่เติบโต และกลุ่มธุรกิจที่ฟื้นตัวจากปีก่อน

ประเด็นที่ต้องจับตาต่อจากนี้คือ เศรษฐกิจสหรัฐอเมริกากำลังเข้าสู่ช่วง Mid Cycle ซึ่งแปลว่า เราอาจจะไม่ได้เห็นการปรับตัวขึ้นแรง ๆ ของตลาดหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกาเหมือนในช่วงที่ผ่านมา

ดังนั้น กลยุทธ์การลงทุนจากนี้ไป จึงต้องมีการคัดเลือกหุ้นรายตัว รายกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมให้มากขึ้น

2. ความน่าสนใจของตลาดหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกา อยู่ที่ตรงไหน ?

ย้อนกลับไปช่วง 2-3 ปีที่ผ่านมา สหรัฐอเมริกาพบปัญหาระหว่างทางมาโดยตลอด
ไม่ว่าจะเป็น สงครามการค้ากับจีน หรือผลกระทบจากวิกฤติโควิด 19 ประกอบกับการเติบโตของตลาดหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกาที่เริ่มตั้งแต่ปี 2009 ก็ดูเหมือนจะจบรอบไปแล้วในปีที่ผ่านมา

ถ้าดูตัวเลข GDP ไตรมาส 2 ปี 2020 ออกมา -30% แต่ที่น่าสนใจก็คือ สหรัฐอเมริกาฟื้นตัวกลับมาได้ค่อนข้างเร็ว โดยเห็นได้จาก GDP ไตรมาส 3 ปี 2020 ปรับตัวขึ้นกลายเป็น +33%

และถ้าหากสังเกตดัชนี S&P 500 ก็ยิ่งฟื้นตัวแรงไม่แพ้กัน
โดยใช้เวลาฟื้นตัวจากวิกฤติโควิด 19 แค่ 1 เดือนเท่านั้น และก็ยังทำ New High ต่อเนื่อง อย่างในปี 2021 นี้ก็ +20% จากต้นปีอีกด้วย

ซึ่งต่างไปจากวิกฤติซับไพรม์ปี 2007 ที่ต้องใช้ระยะเวลาฟื้นตัวกว่า 18 เดือน แต่เมื่อฟื้นตัวกลับมาได้ ก็ไปต่อได้ดีเช่นกัน

ดังนั้น จุดที่น่าสนใจของตลาดหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกา เมื่อสังเกตจาก 2 วิกฤติที่ผ่านมาก็คือ เมื่อสหรัฐอเมริกาประสบภาวะวิกฤติทางเศรษฐกิจแล้ว มักจะกลับมาฟื้นตัวได้เร็ว และก็ดีกว่าเดิมเสมอ

3. แล้วจุดขับเคลื่อนสำคัญ ที่ทำให้เศรษฐกิจสหรัฐอเมริกาฟื้นตัวได้เร็ว คืออะไร ?

ปัจจัยที่ 1 คือ อำนาจทางเศรษฐกิจของสหรัฐอเมริกา ผ่าน 2 เครื่องมือสำคัญ นั่นคือ

- นโยบายทางการเงิน ที่จะช่วยให้ตลาดการเงินของสหรัฐอเมริกายังคงดำเนินต่อไปได้ โดยการซื้อสินทรัพย์ต่าง ๆ ในตลาด เพื่อพยุงราคาไม่ให้ถูกเทขาย

เช่น พันธบัตรรัฐบาล, Mortgage-Backed Securities (ตราสารทางการเงินที่มัดรวมสินเชื่อบ้านเข้าด้วยกัน โดยมีสถาบันการเงินเป็นคนกลางจับคู่ระหว่างผู้กู้ยืมและนักลงทุน), หุ้นกู้ในกลุ่ม Fallen Angels ที่ถูกปรับลดระดับเครดิตต่ำกว่า BBB (Non-Investment Grade)

- นโยบายการคลัง ที่จะช่วยเข้ามากระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจสหรัฐอเมริกา

เช่น การอัดฉีดเงินกว่า 2 ล้านล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐไปให้ชาวอเมริกันที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากการว่างงาน
เนื่องจากโครงสร้าง GDP สหรัฐอเมริกามาจากภาคการบริโภค 70%
ดังนั้น หากชาวอเมริกันกลับมาบริโภคได้ การฟื้นตัวของเศรษฐกิจก็จะกลับคืนมาด้วย

แต่ก็ต้องยอมรับว่า ทั้ง 2 นโยบายที่ว่านี้ คงจะมีแต่สหรัฐอเมริกาเท่านั้น ที่สามารถทำได้
หากเป็นประเทศอื่น ๆ เราคงเห็นปัญหาตามมาอีกมากมาย เช่น ประเทศไทยที่มีสัดส่วนการบริโภคแค่ 1 ใน 4 ถ้าหากเราอัดฉีดเม็ดเงินเช่นนั้นก็จะเกิดปัญหาค่าเงินบาทอ่อนหรือปัญหาเงินเฟ้อปรับตัวขึ้นแรง เป็นผลมาจากการอัดฉีดเงินเข้าสู่ระบบเศรษฐกิจที่มากเกินไป

โดยเหตุผลที่สหรัฐอเมริกาสามารถทำเช่นนี้ได้ เพราะความเป็นผู้นำทางเศรษฐกิจโลกครองสัดส่วน 1 ใน 4 ของมูลค่า GDP โลก และเงินสกุลดอลลาร์สหรัฐ ก็ยังเป็นเงินสกุลหลักของการค้าระหว่างประเทศ

ปัจจัยที่ 2 คือ โครงสร้างธุรกิจที่แข็งแกร่งและหลากหลาย ส่งผลให้ภาพรวมฟื้นตัวได้เร็วขึ้น

หากสังเกตดัชนี S&P 500 จะพบว่า Market Cap. ของกลุ่มเทคโนโลยี 27% สูงเป็นอันดับที่ 1 ถัดมาจะเป็นกลุ่ม Health Care 13% และกลุ่มสินค้าฟุ่มเฟือย 12% ล้วนเป็นกลุ่มธุรกิจที่มีแนวโน้มเติบโต

ที่น่าสนใจคือ เทคโนโลยีของสหรัฐอเมริกา เข้ามามีบทบาทในชีวิตของเราขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ เสมือนเป็นปัจจัยที่ 5 ของชีวิตคนเรา และหลากหลายกลุ่มเทคโนโลยีอนาคตอย่าง Innovation, FinTech, Digital Advertising ยังมีส่วนสนับสนุนการเติบโตของเศรษฐกิจ การจ้างงาน และการแข่งขันในอนาคตอีกด้วย

นอกจากนี้ วิกฤติโควิด 19 ยังเป็นปัจจัยผลักดันการเติบโตของสินค้าเทคโนโลยี และพฤติกรรมของผู้บริโภคที่เปลี่ยนไป เช่น การช็อปปิงออนไลน์, การดูวิดีโอสตรีมมิงแทนการเข้าโรงภาพยนตร์

ขณะที่ภาคธุรกิจเอง ก็หันมาให้ความสนใจ Digital Advertising มากกว่าป้ายบิลบอร์ดเดิม ๆ ส่งผลให้ลดต้นทุน, ลดขั้นตอน Supply Chain ให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น

ทั้งหมดนี้ จึงทำให้เชื่อว่า หุ้นเทคโนโลยีสหรัฐอเมริกาจะยังเติบโตตามผลประกอบการต่อไปได้

4. หลังจากการฟื้นตัว ก้าวต่อไปคือการเข้าสู่ Mid Cycle ?

เมื่ออัตราการว่างงานลดลง ซึ่งคาดว่า 8-10 เดือนข้างหน้า ก็จะสามารถกลับเข้าสู่ระดับปกติก่อนเกิดวิกฤติโควิด 19 ได้ ขณะเดียวกัน Fed ก็เริ่มส่งสัญญาณถอนคันเร่งมาตรการกระตุ้น ด้านสวัสดิการว่างงานก็เริ่มลดลง สะท้อนได้ว่า สหรัฐอเมริกากำลังเข้าสู่ช่วง Mid Cycle

ดังนั้น เราน่าจะไม่ได้เห็นสภาพคล่องท่วมตลาดเหมือนอย่างเคยอีกต่อไป
กลยุทธ์การลงทุนในช่วง Mid Cycle จึงต้องเลือกลงทุนหุ้น Growth เช่น หุ้นเทคโนโลยี
หรือลงทุนหุ้นที่จะได้รับผลประโยชน์จากนโยบายภาครัฐ ในโครงการที่ประธานาธิบดีโจ ไบเดน กำลังผลักดันอยู่ในขณะนี้ เช่น

- American Rescue Plan วงเงิน 1.9 ล้านล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ เพื่อเป็นสวัสดิการชดเชยการว่างงาน
- Infrastructure Bill วงเงิน 1 ล้านล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ เพื่อพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานประเทศ
- American Families Plan วงเงิน 1.8 ล้านล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ เพื่อพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานมนุษย์
- American Jobs Plan วงเงิน 2.3 ล้านล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ สนับสนุนโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน, Health Care, อุตสาหกรรม EV, พลังงานสะอาด
- U.S. Innovation and Competition Act วงเงิน 2.5 แสนล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ เพื่อส่งเสริมการวิจัยและพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีเพื่อแข่งขันกับจีน

หากโครงการเหล่านี้ได้รับการอนุมัติทั้งหมด จะกลายเป็นเม็ดเงินพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจที่เยอะที่สุดในประวัติศาสตร์ของสหรัฐอเมริกา ที่จะช่วยพัฒนาประเทศระยะยาว 5-10 ปี เลยทีเดียว

5. ตอนนี้ Master Fund ระดับโลก มองการลงทุนหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกาอย่างไร ?

หลังจากที่กองทุนบัวหลวงได้พูดคุยกับผู้จัดการกองทุน J.P. Morgan หนึ่งใน Master Fund ระดับโลก
พบว่า หากเป็นการลงทุนระยะกลาง J.P. Morgan กำลังพุ่งเป้าไปที่กลุ่มธุรกิจที่จะได้ประโยชน์จากการเปิดเศรษฐกิจหลังจากผ่านวิกฤติโควิด 19 เช่น

- กลุ่มธุรกิจ Reopening ที่เชื่อว่าจะกลับมาฟื้นตัว และได้รับประโยชน์จากความต้องการซื้อที่อัดอั้นมาจากวิกฤติโควิด 19 เช่น การจองโรงแรม, การเช่ารถ, ร้านอาหาร

- กลุ่ม Health Care ทั้งในแง่ของการรับมือกับโควิด 19, การพัฒนาวัคซีน, การวิจัยเชื้อกลายพันธุ์ และพฤติกรรมพร้อมจ่ายของคนเราเพื่อให้ร่างกายแข็งแรง จึงมองว่ากลุ่มยา และกลุ่ม Biotech ยังเติบโตได้ดี

- กลุ่มพลังงานสะอาด จากการผลักดันนโยบาย EU Green Deal ขณะที่ต้นทุนของพลังงานลม และพลังงานโซลาร์เซลล์ ที่ถูกลงมากเมื่อเทียบกับพลังงานดั้งเดิม รวมทั้งกลุ่มยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าและอุปกรณ์กักเก็บพลังงานก็น่าสนใจ

ขณะเดียวกัน หากเป็นการลงทุนระยะยาว J.P. Morgan กำลังจับตากลุ่มธุรกิจที่สอดรับกับมาตรการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจของสหรัฐอเมริกาในระยะ 5-10 ปีข้างหน้า

ซึ่งนอกจาก 3 กลุ่มข้างต้นแล้ว ก็ยังมีกลุ่มเครื่องจักรอัตโนมัติ หรือกลุ่ม Smart ต่าง ๆ เช่น Smart Home, Smart TV ที่กำลังเติบโตตามโลกอนาคต อีกด้วย

6. กลยุทธ์การลงทุนหุ้น Growth ในช่วงเวลานี้ ?

กลยุทธ์การวิเคราะห์ลงทุนหุ้น Growth ของ J.P. Morgan จะออกเป็น 2 รูปแบบ นั่นคือ

- รูปแบบ Bottom Up คือการวิเคราะห์หุ้นรายตัวเป็นหลัก
- รูปแบบ Micro Focus คือการวิเคราะห์ลงรายละเอียดเล็ก ๆ เพราะเชื่อว่าจุดเล็ก ๆ จะนำไปสู่ความแตกต่างจากบริษัทอื่นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญได้ เช่น Facebook ที่กำลังได้รับประโยชน์จากโฆษณาออนไลน์อย่างต่อเนื่อง

เป้าหมายคือ การค้นหาหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกาที่กำลังเติบโตมากกว่าที่ตลาดคาดการณ์ ภายใต้ 3 ลักษณะสำคัญคือ

- ธุรกิจที่มีผลต่อการบริโภค หรือการใช้ชีวิตที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป
- ธุรกิจที่มีความสามารถในการแข่งขันในระยะยาว มีกำไรที่แข็งแกร่ง
- ธุรกิจที่มีการเคลื่อนไหวของราคาหุ้น (Momentum) ทิศทางเชิงบวก ดังนั้นต้องรู้จักทำใจให้นิ่งเพื่อรอจังหวะ Momentum ที่ดีได้

อีกหนึ่งกลยุทธ์การลงทุนที่สำคัญก็คือ การปรับพอร์ตลงทุนอยู่เสมอ โดยจะลดน้ำหนักหุ้นที่มีราคาปรับตัวขึ้นมานานหลายปี และตลาดรับรู้ข่าวทั้งหมดแล้ว

เช่น กลุ่มเทคโนโลยีชั้นนำอย่าง Microsoft, Apple ถูกลดสัดส่วนตั้งแต่ปีที่แล้ว เพื่อนำเงินไปลงทุนหุ้นที่จะเป็น “Big Winner” ตัวต่อไป แต่ก็ไม่ได้ขายหมดทั้งพอร์ต เพราะยังมองว่าเป็นธุรกิจที่ดีระยะยาว

นอกจากนี้ ด้วยความเป็นกองทุนแบบ Active ของ J.P. Morgan ยังมองเห็น 2 กลุ่มธุรกิจที่น่าสนใจคือ

- กลุ่มการเงิน โดยจะลงทุนทั้งสถาบันการเงินขนาดใหญ่ที่ได้ประโยชน์จากแนวโน้มดอกเบี้ยขาขึ้น และกลุ่ม Online Payment

- กลุ่มเทคโนโลยี 5G และ EV โดยที่มองลงลึกไปถึง “ทองแดง” ซึ่งเป็นวัตถุดิบหลักของกลุ่มเทคโนโลยี จึงเข้าไปลงทุนบริษัท Freeport-McMoRan หนึ่งในธุรกิจเหมืองแร่ทองแดงที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก

7. ตัวอย่างธุรกิจที่เข้าข่ายหุ้น Growth ที่น่าสนใจ ?

ธุรกิจในกลุ่ม Digital Advertising เช่น Snap Inc. เจ้าของแอปพลิเคชัน Snapchat ที่มียอดผู้ใช้งานเพิ่มสูงขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็ว

นอกจากนี้ยังมีการขยายฐานผู้ใช้งานไปยังประเทศอินเดีย ทำให้มีโอกาสเติบโตในเรื่องของเม็ดเงินโฆษณาได้อีกมาก ซึ่ง 2 ปีที่ผ่านมา รายได้ของ Snapchat ก็เติบโตเฉลี่ยปีละ 46%

ธุรกิจในกลุ่มต่อมาก็คือ Online Payment เช่น PayPal ที่ได้ประโยชน์จากการใช้ชีวิตในยุค New Normal และตอบโจทย์ในการชำระเงินยุคใหม่

ซึ่งจากผลการดำเนินงานในไตรมาสล่าสุด PayPal มีจำนวนบัญชี Active User เติบโต 16% จากช่วงเดียวกันของปีก่อนหน้า ในขณะที่จำนวนธุรกรรมเติบโต 40% จากปีก่อนหน้า

ธุรกิจในกลุ่มสุดท้ายก็คือ ธุรกิจนอกกลุ่มเทคโนโลยี เช่น John Deere ผู้ผลิตและจำหน่ายรถแทรกเตอร์ อุปกรณ์การเกษตรที่นำเทคโนโลยีมาใช้กับการเกษตร ตอบโจทย์การเกษตรสมัยใหม่และเทรนด์ความยั่งยืน
หากสหรัฐอเมริกามีการเก็บภาษีจากการปล่อยก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ ก็จะเป็นประโยชน์โดยตรงกับ John Deere

ซึ่งหุ้น 3 ตัวนี้ ก็เป็นหุ้นที่ J.P. Morgan ลงทุนเป็น Top Holding อีกด้วย

8. ตอนนี้หุ้น Growth แพงไปหรือยัง ?

ในมุมมองของกองทุนบัวหลวง คิดว่าหุ้น Growth ยังไม่แพงเกินไป ถึงแม้ว่าจะผ่านช่วงสูงสุดไปแล้ว แต่ก็ยังมีโอกาสเติบโตได้อยู่

โดยหากมาดูในส่วนของค่ากลางของ P/E Ratio S&P 500 พบว่า อยู่ที่ 20 เท่า สะท้อนให้เห็นว่า ยังมีโอกาสที่เรายังสามารถหาหุ้นที่มีแนวโน้มเติบโตในราคาที่สมเหตุสมผลได้อยู่

และที่ผ่านมาดัชนี S&P 500 ก็เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง แต่ P/E ทยอยปรับลดลง ซึ่งมีสาเหตุมาจากกำไรของบริษัทเติบโตอย่างรวดเร็ว

โดยในปี 2021 มีการคาดการณ์ว่ากำไรของบริษัทใน S&P 500 จะโต 60% ในขณะที่ในปี 2022 S&P มีการคาดการณ์ว่ากำไรจะโตต่ออีก 15% จากปี 2021
จากตรงนี้ก็จะเห็นได้ว่า ยังมีอีกหลายธุรกิจที่ผลการดำเนินงานยังมีแนวโน้มที่จะเติบโตได้อยู่

9. ผลตอบแทนการลงทุน ด้วยกลยุทธ์แบบ J.P. Morgan เป็นอย่างไร ?

จากกลยุทธ์ Active Management ที่เน้น Micro Focus ทำให้กองทุน JPM US Growth ที่มีนโยบายลงทุนในหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกา มีผลการดำเนินงานที่ค่อนข้างดีมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง

หากเรามาดูผลการดำเนินงานของกองทุน JPM US Growth จะพบว่า ถ้าดูย้อนหลังไป 3 ปี เฉลี่ยต่อปีแล้ว ผลตอบแทนจะเท่ากับ 27% สูงกว่าเมื่อเทียบกับ Benchmark ที่เป็น Russell 1000 ที่เน้นเฉพาะหุ้นเติบโต ซึ่งถ้าย้อนหลัง 5 ปี ผลการดำเนินงานก็ดีกว่าเช่นกัน

เมื่อมาดูการจัดอันดับของ Morningstar พบว่ากองทุน JPM US Growth อยู่ใน First Quartile คือเป็นหนึ่งในกองทุนที่ทำผลการดำเนินงานได้ดีอยู่ในเกณฑ์ดีที่สุดในกลุ่มอีกด้วย

หากมาดูด้าน Valuation ของกองทุน JPM US Growth จะเห็นว่า กองทุนนี้มี P/E Ratio ที่ต่ำกว่า Benchmark แต่มีอัตราการเติบโตของกำไร (%EPS Growth) สูงกว่า Benchmark และ S&P 500

10. เราจะลงทุนหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกาในรูปแบบกองทุน ได้อย่างไร ?

กองทุน B-USALPHA เป็นกองทุน Feeder Fund ที่ลงทุนในกองทุนหลัก คือ JP Morgan US Growth Fund ไม่ต่ำกว่า 80%

ซึ่ง JP Morgan US Growth Fund เป็นกองทุนแนว Active Management เน้นลงทุนในหุ้นที่เติบโตสูงกว่าที่ตลาดมองไว้

และในส่วนที่เหลือผู้จัดการกองทุนของบัวหลวง ก็อาจลงทุนในหุ้นสหรัฐอเมริกาที่น่าสนใจเป็นรายตัว
ซึ่งน่าจะให้ผลตอบแทนที่ดีระยะยาวได้ เหมือนที่ทำกับ B-FUTURE และ B-CHINE-EQ

กองทุนนี้ ยังมีนโยบายการจ่ายเงินปันผล เพราะปัจจุบันอยู่ในภาวะอัตราดอกเบี้ยต่ำ

Two weeks of non-stop shooting, 1600GB - 62,000 of raw image files along with 500GB of rendered video files to combine into this piece.
After transiting Panama Canal, our ship cross the Caribbean Sea into Atlantic Ocean and arrive at New York, Savannah then Charleston. The timelapse was taken over span of 15 days, some less interesting parts were speed up or faded out (cargo work, daylight hours with no clouds). Most night shots were done on 25 second shutter speed at 30 seconds interval, with port arrivals and departures at 4~8s interval.

*note* The time-lapse was presented different than actual port rotation, its narrative was not linear. I purposefully reshuffled Charleston before New York because it'd be anti-climatic to start the timelapse with dark moody rainy day arriving at New York.
