#武漢肺炎 國際疫情險峻，但很慶幸我們在 #台灣 舉辦的第7屆 Copa America Taiwan 2020 足球賽，沒有受到影響、照踢不誤❗️
上週末，曹立傑次長出席由 #魔法部 贊助數位外交行動計畫 Digital Diplomacy與Copa America Taiwan，在天主教輔仁大學 Fu Jen Catholic University舉辦的這場來自13個國家、23支隊伍、3000多人到場觀賽之足球嘉年華盛會開幕典禮，與 #貝里斯 賀黛安大使、#瓜地馬拉 葛梅斯大使、#尼加拉瓜 李蜜娜大使等許多駐台使節團朋友們，一同為這兩天的賽事揭開序幕！

Copa America Taiwan was held recently at Fu Jen Catholic University in #NewTaipei. 23 teams from 13 countries took part in this year's event, which was held in partnership with the Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association. Over 3,000 spectators showed up for the matches, with 15,000 watching online. Taiwan is still able to hold live sports events despite the ongoing #COVID19 pandemic thanks to the hard work of our front-line workers.
For those who were more #foodie than about the #footie, there was also a cultural festival with music, dance and cuisine from #LatinAmerica. Ambassadors from #Belize, #Guatemala and #Nicaragua attended the opening event, alongside military personnel from our allies currently on exchange in Taiwan.
A team from the #UK (Huh?) clinched victory in the male tournament, #France came in second and #Guatemala came in third, while in the female tournament, Guatemala came in first place, with Paraguay in second place and #Taiwan in third.
