Todoroki Gorge is a ravine within the city of Tokyo! Escape the city for a breath of nature in this beautiful river valley.
Todoroki Valley is a peaceful ravine park in Setagaya, just 20 minutes from Shibuya by train. You can take a walk by the stream, with bridges and stepping stones, see small shrines, cherry blossoms in spring and a tea house with mochi. It's a short, easy walk - perfect if you want to get away from the city but don't have time to go on a full day trip. You only need an hour or two, and it's a really pleasant walk, and a good place to take photos. Watch till the end of the video for directions on how to get to the valley from Todoroki Station. This video was filmed in February, on a particularly warm day that felt like spring!
