歡迎美國的朋友來訪！
美國駐聯合國大使克拉芙特（Kelly Craft）將於13至15日訪台，民進黨國際部 DPP International Affairs 表示，克拉芙特大使是台灣的堅定友人，任內多次就我國推動參與「聯合國」（UN）、「世界衛生組織」（WHO）及「國際民航組織」（ICAO）公開表達支持。
此次來訪表明美國對自由民主的支持，不僅代表了台美政府高層交流的常態化，更象徵台美全球夥伴關係的進一步提升。

MOFA would like to thank the #US on behalf of the government and the people of our country for their bipartisan support for #Taiwan ahead of this year’s presidential election.
The #US Democratic Party party platform, passed at the 2020 Democratic National Convention last week, contains Taiwan-friendly phrasing once again: "Democrats are committed to the Taiwan Relations Act and will continue to support a peaceful resolution of cross-strait issues consistent with the wishes and best interests of the people of Taiwan."
The GOP convention held earlier this week did not introduce a new party platform. However their 2016 platform affirms the #SixAssurances given to Taiwan in 1982 and the #TaiwanRelationsAct and refers to the values of #democracy, #HumanRights, a #FreeMarket economy, and the #RuleOfLaw that we share with the US. It calls for a peaceful solution to any issues in the Taiwan Strait and supports Taiwan’s full participation in the #WHO, the #ICAO and other multilateral institutions.
