蕭叔9譯：「唉，見你楚楚可憐流住珍珠一樣嘅眼淚，我又點捨得同你計你做過咩仆街嘢呢？」
這兩句來自Sonnet 34，講的是兵仔（莎翁）被女神（或男神）欺騙、折磨、情緒勒索；本來打算反面，但一看到女神楚楚可憐的流淚，就即時軟下來了（心軟啦）。
全詩：
Why didst thou promise such a beauteous day,
And make me travel forth without my cloak,
To let base clouds o’ertake me in my way,
Hiding thy bravery in their rotten smoke?
