#ECommerce has really come to prominence during the #COVID19 pandemic, with online retailers seeing profits outreaching the same period last year, and #Africa has not been an exception in this growth. The industry there is predicted to be worth US$75 billion by 2025, and the continent has an expanding middle-class market expected to stand at 1.1 billion by 2050!
This provides lots of opportunities for Taiwanese businesses in the region, which is why MOFA hosted the "E-Commerce in Africa: Prospects, Potential and Challenges" Seminar, in coordination with TAITRA, in order to provide a foothold and knowledge base for those eager to enter the market!
