美國藝術家KAWS的作品游走於塗鴉、流行文化與當代藝術之間，他簡單為角色一個招牌交叉眼，已令數以百萬年青人為之著迷。而穿上XX T-Shirt、與超巨型Companion雕塑自拍的型男潮女，對他的創作理解又有多少呢？ 香港當代藝術基金會（HOCA）將把KAWS最具標誌性的作品帶來PMQ，在《KAWS：ALONG THE WAY》展覽中與你一起探索KAWS近10年的創作歷程，其中部分經典畫作和雕塑更是首次於香港亮相。懂潮流便要懂到骨子裏，快來PMQ感受KAWS幽默有趣的藝術魅力。
From graffiti to high-edge paintings, larger-than-life sculptures and cartoon figures, American artist KAWS incredibility twisted the pop culture with his signature cartoonish style. Everyone is crazy for his name.
Out of his iconic Companion figures, how well do you know about KAW’s creation? Hong Kong Contemporary Art (HOCA) Foundation proudly presents KAWS: ALONG THE WAY, a comprehensive solo exhibition that displays KAWS’s work in a recent decade. The exhibition will take place at PMQ from 25 March to 14 April. You will be indulged in an in-depth survey of KAWS’s oeuvre, some of them have never been displayed in Hong Kong.
With underlying the influence of pop culture, let’s put on your KAWS’s x-ed out eyes T-shirt and experience KAWS’s aesthetic humour in PMQ!
