Today, we published our 2019 Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes, the global standard for diabetes care. Notable updates include revised practice recommendations that put the patient at the center of care, new and revised cardiovascular disease recommendations endorsed for the first time by the American College of Cardiology, more treatment algorithms that provide decision support for individualized care, and a new section focused on diabetes technology.
