D1預告/南極時間 11月20日23:45（週日）消息：
自11/18晚間於烏斯懷亞出發，航行了54小時，終於看見南極大陸了！
一切變得更真實，最終站南極洲250公里6日賽即將展開。
今日將消毒選手準備要上岸的服裝、裝備和確認食物符合無種籽規範，以確保維護南極大陸生態不受破壞，尊重大自然這一點是賽事非常重要的守則。
D1賽事將於南極時間11/21（一）的早上8點出發 [台灣時間晚上7點]，於第一個島嶼King George Island開跑，預計賽程持續12個小時，希望達成目標100公里。
小幫手祈禱彥博後腿拉傷的狀況在這兩天航行時間內有好轉，
第一天賽事順利照節奏配速穩穩完成。

LAND IS IN SIGHT!!!!! The expedition ship for The Last Desert has arrived in Antarctica!
It's been just over two days (54 hours!!) since competitors for The Last Desert left Ushuaia to sail across the Drake Passage to Antarctica and now the start of The Last Desert 2016 is a reality!
Today the main activity was to vacuum all item of clothing and equipment that will go onto land to get rid of any hidden seeds or other items that could cause contamination.
The Last Desert 2016 STAGE 1 SET TO START AT 8am TOMORROW very early in the morning of Monday, 21 November on King George Island and to be out for 12 hours, with the expectation for the leaders to get 100kms / 60 miles completed.
