白俄羅斯作家Svetlana Alexievich,今屆諾貝爾文學獎得主。
“Voices from Chernobyl: The Oral History of a Nuclear Disaster” ,她矢志不懈紀錄下一些刻意被遺忘的歷史。
//The Swedish Academy, announcing her win, praised Alexievich’s “polyphonic writings”, describing them as a “monument to suffering and courage in our time ..........given us a history of emotions—a history of the soul//
“It never ceases to amaze me how interesting ordinary, everyday life is. There are an endless number of human truths … History is only interested in facts; emotions are excluded from its realm of interest. It’s considered improper to admit them into history. I look at the world as a writer, not strictly an historian. I am fascinated by people.”
She added, “But I don’t just record a dry history of events and facts, I’m writing a history of human feelings.”
她被視為不愛國、叛國者。
