印度理工科系學院的 #聯合入學考試（Joint Entrance Examination，#JEE）在本月1日登場，而醫療相關科系的國家資格暨入學考試（#NEET）即將要在本月13日舉行。但在印度連日創下全球單日最高確認人數的時刻，有250萬的學生因為應試需要大規模的流動，也讓外界嚴正批評印度政府罔顧疫情擴散的危險。
一名即將應考NEET的考生賈格（Akansha Jaggi）向《#BBC》表示，自己反對現在舉行考試，「不是因為沒讀完、還沒準備好（才反對舉行考試），問題是我們的生命健康受到威脅」。同為NEET准考生的辛格（Yuvraj Pratap Singh）則表示，印度政府在只有800例確診的時候，選擇延後大考；為何現在每日確診激增卻要堅持舉辦考試。但也有部分考生認為，JEE與NEET已經因為 #疫情 數度延期，苦心準備應考已經造成長期壓力，不如早考早解脫。
但除了 #新冠肺炎 的影響，有更多考生還需要面臨進行頻發的洪災。像是目前遭遇洪災的 #西孟加拉邦，儘管邦政府指示全邦的公車，為了應考人潮的需求，在考試期間每天都要從早上5點開始營運；但許多考生也表示，他們需要在暴雨中等上好幾個小時，才能等到公車。更有家長為了帶孩子應考，需要騎上300公里的摩托車、花費12個小時才能抵達鄰邦應考，讓赴考的過程面臨嚴重的染疫風險。

For higher education students, standardized college exams in the US have been upended during the pandemic. In-person SAT exams have been canceled and a number of selective schools have made the exams test optional, at least temporarily. A group of high school students sued the College Entrance Examination Board, claiming its advanced placement tests are unfair to teens trapped at home by the coronavirus pandemic without adequate computers or Internet connections. Students take the AP exams often with the hopes of earning college credit. As many as 20 percent of students were unable to submit their responses through the testing platform in the first three days of the exam.

The gaokao as it is known has a notorious reputation for being the world’s hardest college entrance examination, with 10 million people annually (!!!) taking the test to compete for a tiny number of spots at the top universities.
