เมื่อเดือนสิงหาคมที่ผ่านมา Hardsuit Labs ทีมพัฒนาหลักของเกม Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 ได้ประกาศข่าวการลาออกของสองหัวหอกหลักผู้พัฒนาเกม Brian Mitsoda หัวทีมเขียนบท และ Ka'ai Cluney ผู้กำกับฝ่ายสร้างสรรค์ ซึ่งแน่นอนว่าสร้างความงุนงงจากแฟนเกมอย่างมาก และทำให้หลายคนเป็นห่วงว่าอนาคตของเกมจะเป็นไปอย่างไรในอนาคต

ล่าสุดนี้ทาง Paradox Interactive ผู้จัดจำหน่ายเกมก็ได้ออกมาประกาศยืนยันข่าวใหม่ว่า ณ เวลานี้คุณ Cara Ellison หัวหน้าทีมออกแบบเนื้อเรื่องเกม Bloodlines 2 ก็ได้ประกาศลาออกไปอีกคนหนึ่งแล้วในวันนี้ และจะไม่มีส่วนร่วมในตัวเกมหลังจากนี้ต่อไป

สื่อเกมอย่าง PCGamer ให้ความเห็นว่า การลาออกครั้งนี้ของคุณ Cara นั้นอาจจะมาจากสาเหตุเดียวกันกับคุณ Mitsoda และ Cluney ที่แม้งานของเธอนั้นได้เสร็จสิ้นไปแล้ว ทว่าปัญหาจากการพัฒนาที่ทำให้ตัวเกมต้องเลื่อนวางจำหน่ายไปเป็นปี 2021 นั้นอาจส่งผลให้เกิดความเปลี่ยนแปลงหลายอย่างในทีมพัฒนา และการลาออกของสองหัวเรือใหญ่นั้นก็ทำให้เราได้รู้ว่าการพัฒนาเกมนั้นย่ำแย่ขนาดไหน รวมไปถึงทาง Paradox เองก็ปฏิเสธที่จะตอบคำถามว่า การลาออกของเธอนั้นส่งผลต่อการพัฒนาเกมในตอนนี้ขนาดไหนอีกด้วย
