What a great day last night. After finished the race, I got back to the hotel. Had lunch and the have a short nap. Then say goodby to my friend @bashirabdi204

Then I received a message on Instagram from a Malaysian, Nik who based in Newcastle and they would like to invite me to come over to the race site for Nasi Lemak as they have set up a camp at the field next to it over there there, together with a group of Malaysian (Akmal, Mahat, Shu, Hilmi) and other members.

Took a 2 mile walk from the hotel that I stayed to their camp, and throughout the journey, I got to see the runners still doing their run. Last 2 mile to the finishing line. Gave them some cheer and motivate them to keep going. Jog or brisk walk, don't stop.

Super happy to have Malaysian food - Nasi lemak over there. We have a great time chatting and sharing about the race experience and got to know more about each other.

Later I got invited to one of their house, Abang Jamal, for coffee time and dinner. Got to meet their family members at his home and they are all so kind and thoughtful. Brought up some cakes, snacks, of course coffee ☕.

Warm welcome from them and then we had dinner together (kuey teow ladna, chicken, basmati rice).

We exchanged ideas, thoughts and sharing of our own experiences. I got to learn some new valuable information from them.

Then Abang Jamal fetch me back to the hotel at 10pm. Once I entered the lobby of the hotel, I got to see the Elite Athletes like @kingcheserek
@shazrine @bygolly.molly @stewy_mac3 @galenruppofficial @charlottepurdue
And the organizer, Matt.

And so I joined them. We have a great time laughing, talking, chatting. They are really funny and lovely. Super happy to spend time with them. Forgot to take a wefie for this moment! 😭

Enjoy the atmosphere so much. Wanna visit the 👑 @kingcheserek definitely after the Empire State Building Run Up and to train with them.

Thanks @great_run for all this wonderful experience.

I am looking forward already to come back to Newcastle for the Great North Run 2022 and this time I will be prepare for it and to hit a much faster timing (perhaps the NR!).

T-3 to Great North Run @great_run

Arrived in UK yesterday late morning. Got picked up by @summit_seeking_sherpa David Spence at the Airport. Sorry for kept you waiting for me for quite some time for me to get through the border control.

Have a great chat throughout the day, did some groceries and thanks for a yummy dinner - Bangers and Mash prepared by you.

At night I got the Epsom Salt Bath to get my body ready for the Half Marathon this Sunday. After all the long travel here and there, and the long hike especially.

This morning we went for an easy trail run around Sutton. It was a really great trail route. Thanks for preparing the classic breakfast - Scramble Eggs with Toast and Tea after the run. Delicious.

Contra: Hard Corps, also known as Contra: The Hard Corps (魂斗羅ザ・ハードコア Kontora Za Hādo Koa) in Japan, and as Probotector in Europe and Australia; is a great run-and-gun sidescrolling 2D action-platformer for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive. It was developed and published by Konami in 1994.

Initially, people did not give it much attention, unlike Contra III: The Alien Wars, but over time, people have lauded it and put it high on their lists of favorite games for the Genesis, and 16-bit games in general.

Its main competition on the system is Gunstar Heroes by Treasure. Gunstar Heroes is more accessible and inviting, with its bright color-palette and friendly art-direction, but Contra: Hard Corps's Japanese original version is not prohibitively difficult.

This is the version I played, because you can take three hits, and there are unlimited continues. With perseverance, any average gamer can beat this game, and for that, I am grateful.

After I beat the game, however, I found out that there are about a bazillion endings to the game, based upon choices you make throughout it. For this playthrough, I always selected the first option that was given to me.

This was the first time that I seriously tried to beat the game. I'm glad I finally did. I still like Gunstar Heroes better, but I do like the controls in this game a bit more. The bosses have attacks that are easy to dodge if known about. After some memorization and practice, I think I could beat the North American version.

The Takeuchi highway (Of excellence very) is toward from Osaka Prefecture Sakai City to the east, exceeds the south foot and Takeutitouge of Mt. Nijo-san, and is a highway of about 26km to the vicinity of the Nagao Shinto shrine of the Nara Prefecture Katsuragi city.

The section to the vicinity of the Takeuchi village from the swan intersection in Habikino City to the Katsuragi city is structure and a history from which most the districts are specified for No.166 in the national road.

* The Takeuchi highway is the oldest "Miti" in Japan recorded in the article of Nohonshoki of 21 years (613 years) in Empress Suiko, "A large road (uncle) from Nanba to the capital (Asuka) is put". The majority comes in succession in a present Takeuchi highway with Miti in the Empress Suiko age. The east side is connected with the Mitiyoco Main Street where the southern part of the Nara basin is crossed from east to west. It was called Himiti () before. Because Hino is crossed, it is presumed to be given of the name. It is understood to see the article on the Ten July 1 of the first year , saying that "A great number of multi of the war arrives from Miti at the association discernment if the west is faced and seen ..Otsu and ratio.. ..both.. drinking..", and to have been used also for the war of Monkey, and is presumed that it is Takeuchi highway with the Nagao highway.
* It is thought that this road was an east and west road to which the Furuichi old tomb group and the shrike bird old tomb group almost run in the center part, and the road where two old tomb groups tie. It is thought that it was constructed delaying behind the Nagao highway. Moreover, it touches the part forward at the edge of the southeast in the Oyama old tomb in yen part and it will go after the Honda Mt. old tomb south end if this highway is extended from east to west as a straight road. In a word, it is understood that these two huge old tombs are made on the north latitude line on the map.
* It seems that there was already traffic of considerable people because a lot of ruins in the mausoleum grave and the old tomb, etc. spent in the fifth century in the fourth century remained in the west foot (present Osaka Prefecture Taishi-cho) in Mt. Nijo-san though it is about beginning of the seventh century to be maintained as Miti as shown in the above-mentioned.
* Yatsca envoy and the monk of going abroad to study come and go in the Asuka age, and the culture from the continent to China and Korea is brought, and it is and of the Asuka culture.
* It continues partially of the Ise highway in the Middle Ages, and No.166 in the national road is going now. Therefore, the Takeuchi highway will be being used as a highway between the Asuka age and present.
* Matsuo Basho lived in the Takeuchi village in the route for a certain period of time in Edo period. There is Watayumitsca of the Basho monument there, and it is maintained as a park now.
