Yesterday at Red Bull 400 Titisee-Neudstat 2021

1st photo: I was so happy to meet someone I knew, Founder of Red Bull 400, Mr. Andreas Berger at the race site. We met back in Red Bull 400 Copperpeak 2019 in Ironwood, US (2nd photo). I enjoyed the race so much, especially the pain of it. We had a quick chat about it. I will come back for a revenge when there is an opportunity again 😆 I still want to win the trophy 🏆
We both were surprised to see each other in the race 🤣

3rd photo: 5th placing pose right before the entrance to the battlefield. I went in twice yesterday.

I sat down with 鄉間小路 and Chef Joshua Wang (LSD Café Salon) and spent a lovely afternoon talking about pastries (of course!) and pastry culture in France and Taiwan. We also shared our experiences on the way becoming a pastry chef and what we think about "Taiwanese style pastries".

During the interview, Joshua presented "Goo for you", one of his new creations inspired by “Fong Pian Rice Cake" (鳳片糕), a traditional Taiwanese pastry made of glutinous rice flour. The chocolate filling has rendered it modern and intriguing.

Today I’m talking with Julien Gaudfroy, who in my opinion has a pretty strong claim to having quite possibly the best Chinese of any foreigner ever. He has been a host on Chinese radio and television for many years now, has acted in Chinese movies, and has also been a performer of Chinese crosstalk comedy xiangsheng which is known for being extremely difficult linguistically. And on a personal level I’ve been jealous of his Chinese for at least a decade now! During this interview we spoke together in Chinese and English about how his Chinese got so good, what was his xiangsheng (Chinese crosstalk) training like, how that impacted his Chinese abilities, his experience in the Chinese media world, Dashan (Mark Roswell), and his training as a classical musician.
