100g Self Raising Flour
50g Almond Milk Powder
40g Sugar
45g Almond Milk **
20g Canola Oil
1 tbsp Condensed Milk

♨️ AF @ 140°C for 11mins
.

** I substitute with 15g Almond Milk Powder and 30g Water ➡ (1/3 🥛 + 2/3 💦)

Eggless Milky Vegetarian Biscuits! 🥛💋
Jiangsu Bing or Kong Soh Peng (光酥饼)
👵🏻 I was first introduced to this vegan-friendly biscuit by my late grandma who happened to be a vegetarian herself. Through her, i learnt that such biscuits was once served at temple and also made available to public for sale as well.
🍪 However, those were the good ol' days as nowadays, this simple yet nostalgic delicacy is so hard to come by and sadly, slowly loosing its heritage. Although this might not 100% resemblant of my childhood taste, at least the humble taste conjures up the fond memories i had with my late nana. My mom & i ♥ these biscuits- but not quite so with the guys in the family 😅
💋 The texture is very soft and pillowy i would say, rather moist especially when savoured immediately upon getting it out from the tray.
Ingredients :
--------------------
100g Self Raising Flour
50g Milk Powder
50g Sugar
45g Fresh Milk ***
20g Canola Oil
10g Condensed Milk
♨️ AF @ 150°C for 10mins
(if you prefer less brown on the outside, try 140°C for 11mins)
** I substitute with 15g Milk Powder and 30g Water ➡ (1/3 🥛 + 2/3 💦)
