Word has it that Ipoh makes the best Taufufa, probably due to their sources - natural karst limestone mountain mineral water to yield better ingredients for Taufufa making. (The same to why Ipoh beansprouts are juicier and tastier)
Myself is a super big fan of anything soy, and taufufa is one of them. If you have time in Ipoh, visit all of them. If not, do a little research before hand and you'll learn that most of the business probably have the same family recipe but running with different brands etc. Some business have a slightly different texture and some swear the tofu tastes different . The truth is, there is no best voted when it comes to taufufa in Ipoh. They are all pretty awesome and pretty is subjected to how you like your taufufa.
In @beancurdwoongkee , flavours are plentiful and tofu slippery smooth (peristalsis almost irrelevant) as you swallow. I like them offering soya bean with no sugar and having comfortable seats in the shop.
