欣賞舞台劇、歌劇與音樂劇不是只有在美麗的劇院裡面欣賞，在倫敦，Open Air Theatre是每年於倫敦攝政公園(Regent Park)期間限定上演的戶外露天劇場，每年會從五月至九月展開一系列不同類型的表演，像是舞台劇、歌劇或是音樂劇。

而在2019年，第一部舞台劇是Our Town我們的小鎮，這個故事在世界各國都有被翻譯上演，台灣也曾被不同劇團改編為"淡水小鎮"以及"安平小鎮"
第二部上演的是由英國國家歌劇院所帶來的Hansel and Gretel，這是由Engelbert Humperdinck所寫作的歌劇，故事來自於格林童話的糖果屋。
接續歌劇之後，是由Dominic Hill所執導的莎士比亞仲夏夜之夢

#以音樂劇作為本季收尾

Open Air Theatre最後一部上演的表演是音樂劇"艾薇塔"，故事是來自於阿根廷夫人Eva Peron的故事。音樂劇的歌詞是由Tim Rice所寫，音樂是來自於ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER。
.
韋伯的音樂劇"艾薇塔"是在1976年發行概念專輯，一直到1978年才正式在英國倫敦西區劇院上演。故事女主角Evita是根據阿根廷總統Peron第二任妻子Eva Peron從早年生活到後來崛起，關於她一生的故事。
.
音樂劇是以倒述手法，從一群觀眾觀看電影開始，接著從一位像是旁觀者角度的Che，帶入EVITA年輕時的生活，接著演到她與阿根廷總統佩隆相遇。下半場，最重要的重頭戲是整部劇最著名片段阿根廷別為我流淚"Don't Cry for Me Argentina"
Che這個角色，有人說，其實是來自於南美洲革命家切格瓦拉，但並未確切以他為範本所寫，後來的改編成其他演出形式，這個角色大多以匿名出現。

音樂劇"艾薇塔"從1978年6月21日開始於倫敦Edward Prince Theatre演出，一直到1986年2月18日，總計演出超過3千場。之後，在2006年以及2017年都還有再回到倫敦西區的劇院上演。
.
除了在世界各地巡迴演出音樂劇版本，也曾在1996改編成為電影，由瑪丹娜主演，她所演唱的主題曲阿根廷別為我哭泣也是成為各大排行之首。

2019 Open Air Theatre
攝政公園戶外劇場的壓軸，音樂劇艾薇塔則是以韋伯音樂劇版本為基礎，導演Jamie Lloyd卻為這部音樂劇做了新的舞台呈現。

當你計畫要進場欣賞這部音樂劇"艾薇塔"之前，請先把你過去看過的音樂劇劇院版本或是電影版本都先忘掉，Jamie Lloyd以現代舞台重新呈現這部經典音樂劇，賦予新的舞台造景、服裝、以及演員角色安排。
.
戶外的大型舞台劇場，增加許多燈光效果還有許多煙霧彩帶等舞台裝飾，舞台背景也改成以階梯式作為主視覺。
打破所有你對這部音樂劇的既定印象，呈現一種比較具有現代舞台表演

英國倫敦最後夏日時光，攝政公園也將在"艾薇塔"的音樂聲中，結束本季演出。
