I used to hear adults talk abt how marriage (and any longterm relationship) needs to be 'maintained', but in my head i thought 'Love conquers all'.
Well....
I still believe LOVE is the answer, but I've learnt that love comes in so many ways. At every stage of my life and journey, love mean different things to me, and it also show up in different forms. Love Conquers All is only true when 2 parties put in their heart and soul to trust, communicate, believe, honor, respect each other in a prideless manner.
I've learnt that 'You complete me' is highly incorrect. No one completes anyone. To sustain a healthy relationship, it requires 2 complete person, emotional and mentally healthy, coming together to meet each other in the middle.
He's not perfect, neither am i, and neither is anyone in this world. When he starts being unbearable, i remind myself that this is what makes a relationship real, this not fairytale, not movie, not novel. Uncomfortable situations makes us grow, and we have grown with every fight, thankfully.
As i embark on this spiritual journey, i can't help but marvel at how differently i have looked at everything in life. I hope i never stop growing within and with him.
So grateful to start the new decade with a short trip with @deon.woo to Bali. (It's his first, can u believe it)
