I am keeping testing parallax method for simple animation. The most tricky are characters. In this test I've used many techniques 2d/3d, photos and painting... Effect is done in Maya but you can achieve similar result in many other apps. Next time I'll try to be in 3d space early to prepare shapes before final illustration, because fitting geometry into existing picture is pretty tricky.

In this Adobe Premiere Pro Preset video editing tutorial we are showing you how to apply the Parallax Scroll Preset. This is a nice transition effect to transition to a title card revealing a title with a background, as this effect mimics the parallax scroll effect which seen on many website when scrolling up and down the pages.

On video it doesn't capture the real essence of the effect, but its way way more than just VR. This was first time I held a phone without using VR glasses that it looks like a proper window into a world, then comparing watching other VR videos as this got proper parallax in it while moving, which most VR won't have it when viewing without VR goggles and just looks flat. And with it being also controlled by time, you can do creative things like long period timelapse where you can see the environment change while you pan from one side to the other. And you can achieve this with a relative affordable setup, as you only need one camera and a 360 timelapse motors which are pretty affordable.
