【Zynga前M&A負責人聊併購策略與行業未來展望】
Chris Petrovic在2016年加入Zynga的時候，股價只有1.88美金；而在他經手併購了PuzzleSocial, Harpan, Gram Games, Small Giant, Peak Games等公司，而Zynga的股價在他任內最高也達到了8.7美金。(#影片連結可參考留言處)
Chris Petrovic提到，在他進入Zynga以前，公司對於併購策略沒有一個明確的方向。他認為最重要的是設立一套標準，先確認「什麼是不想要的」，避免追求無意義的對象浪費資源與時間。有別於之前Zynga著重收購小公司，Chris Petrovic偏重收購已經確認成功的公司，並協助該公司的遊戲規模做大，成為長線成功產品。
通常Zynga收購這類公司時，會盡量給予這些公司自主權，並希望他們專注於遊戲之中。Zynga會提供一連串的協助清單，讓併購的工作室自行選擇需要的協助，通常對這類公司較有幫助的是一些管理、財務、法務等非遊戲直接相關業務，因為遊戲公司的核心團隊通常不會把重心放在上述事項。
除此之外，數據也是被併購團隊被幫助的一個重點，但Chris Petrovic表示不會強迫去採用，而是讓團隊發現Zynga的數據預測和事實結果相符後，團隊產生信任就會自動接受。結果也能發現，這些被併購的公司，後續在廣告投放以及市場擴張上都打破了固有的限制而有驚人的成長，這其中也是Zynga所帶來的價值。
對未來的展望來說，Chris Petrovic和與會者都認為2020是併購相當瘋狂的一年，但2021人們、與資金都回歸正常時會怎樣轉變很值得關注；關於IDFA，他認為手機遊戲的業者都非常靈活，因此總會有方法找出解決方法的；最後，就他所知，由於原神的影響，現在歐美非常多廠商下一步的遊戲研發，都瞄準了跨平台RPG遊戲類型。
最後，他給與所有可能被併購團隊的建議是，從第一天就準備好一個偉大企業應該有的事情。重要資料數據的收集整理、保留備份都是基本，你不希望在機會來臨時還要人去臨時拉Excel檔，還要去確認數據的真偽。機會是給準備好的人的。
我覺得Chris展現了一個成功商務該有的典範模型。從訪談中可以發現，他很強調關係的建立與養成，在與Small Giant的併購完成前，他可以花18個月和對方打交道，從不斷的與人交流中獲得情報與信任。並且，花非常多的時間在研究玩遊戲。(說真的，我認識很多商務是不玩或研究遊戲的)
