KENYAN PROVERB:
When elephants fight, it is the grass that gets hurt.
MEANING:
Fights of the powerful hurt only the little guys.
MORAL OF THE PROVERB:
When the scholar differ, the public will be the victim. When politician clashes, it is the public who will be a victim.
If you among those who are consider powerful, think before you act because your action will not hurt you much except your ego but it will hurt the majority public who look up on YOU!
[Fight Over What]
We (Muslim) are asking Christian not to use the word Allah because the they (Christian) will misuse it in their concept of trinity. We ask Christian to refer to Quran for the right concept of Allah before they using the word Allah.
The Christians doesnt believe in Quran then what make us think they will need to refer to Quran for the right concept of the name ALLAH? If they have believe in Quran, they no longer a Christian but they surely have become a Muslim! Is just the same that Christian asking us to refer to Jesus according to the Bible and not Quran.. can we accept that? Most probably our answer will be NO...
So in my humble opinion, Muslim need to reason with our Christians brothers & sisters the RIGHT concept of Allah & Jesus ACCORDING TO QURAN & BIBLE and not fighting over who have the the right to use it. Can both Muslims & Christians discuss this issue by putting forward evidence from both scriptures (QURAN & BIBLE) the TRUE meaning of Who Is ALLAH?
The challenge is can both parties discuss with rational and not with emotional? POLITICIAN, STAY OUT OF THIS... Wallahualam..
p/s I respect others who have different view & hope others will respect mine too. Personally, Christianity is a very good platform for people to embrace Islam... They just need to accept Prophet Muhammad SAW as the last Prophet and change their view toward Jesus from Son of God to the Messenger of God. They can still love Jesus even more after become a Muslim...
Hong Kong Chief Executive C.Y. Leung says he is confident that "if we can all work together, with the best and long-term interest of Hong Kong in mind, we will achieve the goal of implementing universal suffrage for the next CE (=Chief Executive) election in 2017."
The short speech at Hong Kong's Foreign Correspondent Club comes two days after Beijing released a "white paper" making it clear that the Chinese government would retain the ultimate say and that only "patriots" would be allowed to run for the job.
"Loving the country is the basic political requirement for all of Hong Kong's administrators," said the document, interpreted as meaning that nobody seen as inimical to Beijing would be allowed to assume key posts in Hong Kong.
At the same time, Beijing emphasized that it has "comprehensive jurisdiction" over Hong Kong, which is just "one of the local administrative regions of the country."
