What a great day last night. After finished the race, I got back to the hotel. Had lunch and the have a short nap. Then say goodby to my friend @bashirabdi204

Then I received a message on Instagram from a Malaysian, Nik who based in Newcastle and they would like to invite me to come over to the race site for Nasi Lemak as they have set up a camp at the field next to it over there there, together with a group of Malaysian (Akmal, Mahat, Shu, Hilmi) and other members.

Took a 2 mile walk from the hotel that I stayed to their camp, and throughout the journey, I got to see the runners still doing their run. Last 2 mile to the finishing line. Gave them some cheer and motivate them to keep going. Jog or brisk walk, don't stop.

Super happy to have Malaysian food - Nasi lemak over there. We have a great time chatting and sharing about the race experience and got to know more about each other.

Later I got invited to one of their house, Abang Jamal, for coffee time and dinner. Got to meet their family members at his home and they are all so kind and thoughtful. Brought up some cakes, snacks, of course coffee ☕.

Warm welcome from them and then we had dinner together (kuey teow ladna, chicken, basmati rice).

We exchanged ideas, thoughts and sharing of our own experiences. I got to learn some new valuable information from them.

Then Abang Jamal fetch me back to the hotel at 10pm. Once I entered the lobby of the hotel, I got to see the Elite Athletes like @kingcheserek
@shazrine @bygolly.molly @stewy_mac3 @galenruppofficial @charlottepurdue
And the organizer, Matt.

And so I joined them. We have a great time laughing, talking, chatting. They are really funny and lovely. Super happy to spend time with them. Forgot to take a wefie for this moment! 😭

Enjoy the atmosphere so much. Wanna visit the 👑 @kingcheserek definitely after the Empire State Building Run Up and to train with them.

I am looking forward already to come back to Newcastle for the Great North Run 2022 and this time I will be prepare for it and to hit a much faster timing (perhaps the NR!).

I have been working on many things on many directions. Somehow I felt so down last week despite I have been making a lot of efforts. Have you been there?

But I feel pretty good today (Monday) somehow. I just kept moving forward without too much push and too much worrying.

I organized some photos and videos on my computer last night which I really wanted to do. I kept working out everyday even small amount of time.

Especially musicians and creative people are so self conscious about ourselves! Please be kind to yourself and take it easy! Don’t think too much and don’t worry! You are doing good! Little tiny efforts everyday and sometimes you don’t feel any improvement but that’s very normal!

Especially if you see social media too much then it’s so easy to compare yourself others so I alway say this. Don’t compare! Don’t expect too fast! Be patient is the key to success.

One thing was a great decision for me last week. I booked photo session two days with my friend @vicbrazen Vic is not only a talented photographer but he is a sweet human being! That’s so important for me as a person! Be a nice person behind guitar playing! We got so many great photos to share with you!

It’s not a squeeze bottle but with a pump👍 I’m actually a foundation type of gal, cuz using only tone up cream can’t conceal all my skin issues! I’ve tried using it on my neck for the color of my neck is way darker than my face, but it turned out too white! It’s not that kind of product which can melts into your skin and make it a bit brighter and lighter. It has the color white, so if you’re not in a white base, it looks a bit weird. Just like some physical blockers can make your face look WHITE.

Topic: To abort or not to abort – making difficult choices alone

Some pregnant women are so conflicted about abortion that they don’t even talk about it with their own mother.

Almost half of all pregnancies are unplanned. Between 10-20% of women are still uncertain about whether they should have an abortion when they come in for the procedure.

Some don’t even bring it up with the man they’d become pregnant by.

“Everyone has an opinion about abortion, but for the women who were in this situation, figuring out what was right and wrong proved to be very complex”

I speak to Maalini Ramalo, Director of Social Protection DHRAA and Secretariat of COVIDCAREMY Marginalized Community Support Group her thoughts about this whole fiasco.

She then gives us a recap of what CovidcareMY is all about and how much has been raised since they first started this coalition of like-minded Malaysian NGOs.

I also get to meet with these wonderful angels (we had Kar Mun aka Lemon on my show before too), and we invited her back for a fun "Let's Get to Know Each Other's Craft Speed Date Style".

Each of us, woulld be given 2-3 minutes each to introduce what we are doing to raise funds for CovidCareMY.
