“Call For Action on Mar 18. 2-Hour Coffee Sales Donation for Japan Earthquake Relief”
The largest 9-magnitude earthquake in Japanese history produced scenes of horror along the country's northeast coast. The earthquake triggered a 10m tsunami wave which swept across eastern coastal regions, many buildings engulfed in flames after the disaster took place. Starbucks Foundation and Starbucks Coffee Japan announced a ¥100 million donation to the Red Cross in support of relief efforts in Japan. In Hong Kong, we will have a “2-Hour Coffee Sales Donation” on Mar 18 from 3pm to 5pm, where all funds generated by beverage purchases (without deduction of costs) will be donated to World Vision Hong Kong’s Japan Earthquake Relief funds. In addition, donation box from World Vision Hong Kong will be placed in 100 of our stores starting tomorrow, pls do support! See you on Mar 18.
